Being asked to volunteer with ✈️ Dreams Take Flight Vancouver ✈️ is a privilege that I don’t take for granted. They are a non for profit organization that works super hard all year round to fundraise money to send 125 deserving children living in BC with special needs to Disneyland for one incredibly special & magical day. This year I was on Team Snow White with Sheena Ram, Volunteer Director, who I am lucky enough to call my friend. So happy we got to make dreams come true for kids together! ✨🥰 -Dana

Meet our October JR Artist of the Month, Matt Kennedy!

After stepping away from music to raise his three kids, Matt reconnected with some old high school buddies for a jam session in 2024 and realized they were having way too much fun to stop there. Now, 20 years of stories later, he’s taking a serious second shot at music. 🎶

A 2026 BCCMA nominee and rising name in the BC country scene, Matt released his debut single, “Taking Chances,” this September - a fitting title for this exciting new chapter.

Check out Matt Kennedy and his song “Taking Chances" which is playing all month long on JR Country! 🤠
