Our cups are full after our film screening last night at St. Andrew's-Wesley United Church. It was great to see new and familiar faces, some who joined us for the second and even third time! We screened "A Place Where I Belong" to a full crowd, followed by a drag performance by Mak Daddy () and a talkback with director Rheanna Toy () and local experts.

A huge thank you to the City of Vancouver for sponsorship (), Story Money Impact for in-kind sponsorship and organizing 💪🏻 (), CQC (), St. Andrew's-Wesley for hosting us (.andrewswesley), and Qmunity () for promotional support. 🏳️‍🌈

We really enjoyed filming this past weekends live performance of 'We All Need A Home' at the Massey Theatre.

The cast was fantastic, and the stage setup was great. The story remains an important topic for those in the community.

They are currently on a break but are planning on more performances around BC later this year. If you have the chance, try and catch them.

Over the last three weeks, we've been doing a storytelling cohort with on the theme of belonging and not belonging.

Participants got to create what that meant to them in short video form and also got to direct and interview one another.

We had an incredible time working with , , and to host this Kamloops screening of "A Place Where I Belong" with talkbacks and a drag show with . It was such a powerful day filled with discussion about connecting people with diverse abilities to the q***r community in Kamloops.

We had so much fun working on a video for a hip hop workshop called "Break The Beat" last summer. Part of the SoulAbilities project, the workshop was about more than just DJing, rapping, dancing, and graffiti writing—it was a part of a local movement to encourage more people with diverse-abilities to share in the joy and creativity of hip hop.

We are delighted to announce 'A Place Where I Belong' will be screening at The 16th edition of the Écrans Mixtes Festival. Which will take place in Lyon, France from March 4 to 12, 2026

Today is International Day of Persons with Disabilities.

We're thinking today of the stories that often go unheard because systems weren't built with disabled people in mind. Visibility still comes with risks, and representation can flatten people instead of truly listening to them.

We're doing our best to unlearn our ableism, be an ally, and help the disabled community get their stories out there. More than 50% of our clients work with people with disabilities, so we've had the privilege to meet many people and hear many stories and consider how to tell authentic stories that serve the community. It's been a process of learning and unlearning that we're forever grateful for.

Our first feature film, "A Place Where I Belong", celebrates q***r disabled stories, an intersection that is often overlooked.
