Hi friends! A couple months back me and my pal Ndidi O and I released a beautiful album together called THE BLUE AND GOLD. The album is an homage to the music of pioneering blues woman. If you want to support this project we'd love it if you bought our album on Bandcamp. As you may know Bandcamp is one of the only platforms where artists can be compensated properly for their work.
Ndidi and I have been having an amazing summer playing festivals across Canada - Winnipeg Folk Fest, Hillside Music Festival, Open Skies Festival, and soon the Salmon Arm Roots & Blues festival! It's been such an honour to perform for fans and to present this music which includes our versions of songs by Memphis Minnie, Victoria Spivey, Lottie Kimborough, Blind Mamie Forehand, Jessie Mae Hemphill and others!
If we can raise enough money from album sales we plan to release a vinyl edition of this sweet album.

Hi folks, so pleased to announced that "Honey In The Rock" the debut single from my new music project THE BLUE AND GOLD is now out in the world!

THE BLUE AND GOLD a musical collaboration with singer Ndidi O Ndidi O is an homage to the profound influence of black female artists on 20th century country / blues traditions and indeed on the evolution of all modern music.

So excited for this project and look forward to playing this music live at festivals this summer!
