I know everyone has been a bit dissapointed about my lack of attendance at markets.
But I think, just for now, focusing on sewing for shops is the way to go. I get to be mom to my kids, I don't need to navigate my hubbies hectic work schedule or try to find babysitters when he leaves last minute.
I'll still go to some really special markets (Kitimat hopefully), but also handmade, curated ones.
Sending items to small shops helps these shops stay open and gets more people through the door, so that's a powerful reason to do less too.
If anyone has gift cards and sees something I'm working on that they love, I can pull it from a shop I'm in or make something special just for you!
