✡️ One of the things I appreciate most about Judaism is that it doesn’t ask us to deny our humanity.
Tanakh is filled with flawed people. Their grief, struggle, repair, return, accountability, and growth is all part of a their tikkun—their repair.
🌎It’s not about being perfect, or doing everything precisely. It’s repairing what’s fractured within us and within the world around us.
🙏🏽One of the greatest gifts we can give our children isn’t the illusion that we never struggle, it’s showing them we have the courage to become more conscious, accountable and emotionally whole than the generations before us.
Because children inherit more than what we say; they inherit what we normalize.
In Judaism, every generation is meant to move closer toward wholeness.
And maybe it’s the work within us that will bring Mashiach. ✨
💐Happy Mother’s Day!
