I don't know about you, but pronouncing a hard T on Sorbet really does it for me 🤣 Any words you enjoy pronouncing funny? I like pronouncing the L in Salmon every now and again, keeps people on their toes 🤪

Nicci Claspell made her principal Broadway debut in Moulin Rouge! with just two hours' notice - and no rehearsal.

She had played Satine on the national tour over a year ago, but wasn’t expecting to step into the role again, especially not like this.

“They were down all of the current Satines and wanted to know how I’d feel about going on for the 7:30… and this was at 5:30.”

She said yes, rushed to the theater, and hit the stage with only minutes to spare.

“Was I nervous? Sure. But having lived with this show for over three years, I trusted that it was all still there in my brain - and it was.”
