You can dislike Roundabouts as much as you do, but you have to admit, it beats waiting for 5 minutes while 20 cars going in 4 different directions try to navigate a 4-way stop... Looking forward to more traffic circles coming to town in the next few years!

Not your average traffic stop in Prince George. 🚗💖

Police pulled over a man cruising down 15th Avenue in a child-sized pink Barbie Jeep on Sept. 5. Photos show Kasper Lincoln rocking aviators while his friend walked beside him. He told media he was on his way to grab a Slurpee but “got lazy” and borrowed his roommate’s kid’s toy car instead.

The stunt went viral, spawning memes—including one styled like Grand Theft Auto. But police say toy cars aren’t street legal, and Lincoln is now facing a DUI charge, which he says he plans to fight.

UPDATE - SEPTEMBER 5 @ 6:49PM - The RDNO is urging all residents and visitors to avoid the Noble Canyon and Becker Lake/Bardolph area due to the Noble Canyon wildfire (K41979) that started behind the Lavington Canco gas station on Friday afternoon.

Active wildfire efforts are underway, and we are asking for the public's support to ensure these efforts can be completed as safely and effectively as possible.

Further information will be issued as updates are received from the BC Wildfire Service. Residents are encouraged to visit www.rdno.ca, this page, and listen to local radio for updates.

If you have not downloaded the Alertable Canada app on your mobile device, we recommend you do so to receive all urgent communications regarding wildfires in the area.
