many new followers…..I feel it is time to reintroduce myself 💅💅💅

I’m Clare :) aka broke press!!! I’ve been running this little operation from my basement suite kitchen table since 2020!!!!

my full time day job is at the public library, and i love my job :) I love getting to play publisher on the evenings and days off, and sometimes…..I even play writer too!!! my proudest moment of maybe my life was having a chapbook published by in 2023 :)

I’ve lived in Vernon BC my whole life!!
I drive a Ford Ta**us station wagon!
I have a cat named Boone!!

some things I love in life!!! my local independent movie theatre, skiing, the lakes in the Okanagan valley, the Toronto raptors, cereal, playing all the sports, Drake (don’t cancel me), and cheap beer

my all time favourite writer is Anne Carson, my all time favourite book is The Outsiders, and I’m supa d**a passionate about local writers and beautiful writing :,)
