Kundi dahil mali ang beliefs natin about money.

Saving is a habit.

Truth: The earlier you start, the bigger your future wealth dahil sa compound growth.

5️⃣ “Okay na ang mag-ipon lang.”
Truth: Saving protects your money.
Investing makes your money grow.

If I have a daughter, these are the money lessons I’ll teach her early… so she won’t cry later.

1️⃣ Always save your own money.
Never depend on someone else for your financial security.

2️⃣ Learn how money works.
School teaches many things… but rarely about investing, saving, and building wealth.

3️⃣ Pay yourself first.
Before buying wants, before paying bills…save or invest a portion of your income.

4️⃣ Avoid lifestyle inflation.
Just because you earn more doesn’t mean you should spend more.

5️⃣ Invest early.
Time is the biggest advantage you’ll ever have in building wealth.

6️⃣ Don’t stay in a situation because of money.
Financial independence gives you choices and freedom.

7️⃣ Emergency fund is non-negotiable.
Life happens. Be ready.

I’m not raising a daughter who depends on luck.
I’m raising a daughter who understands money.

Because financially smart women don’t just survive… they thrive.

ETF vs Picking Individual Stocks

If you're new to investing, you’ve probably asked this question:

Should I buy ETFs or individual stocks?

Let’s make it simple.

💡 ETF (Exchange-Traded Fund)When you buy an ETF, you’re investing in many companies at once.

Example: One ETF can include hundreds of companies like banks, tech companies, and global businesses.

This means:
✅ More diversification
✅ Lower risk
✅ Easier for beginners

💡 Individual Stocks

When you buy individual stocks, you’re investing in one single company.

Example: You choose one company and your investment depends only on that company’s performance.

This means:
⚠️ Higher risk
⚠️ Requires research
⚠️ Bigger ups and downs

💭 That’s why many beginner investors start with ETFs first, then later learn how to pick individual stocks.

Because remember:

You don’t need to be an expert to start investing. You just need to start.

“Pay yourself first before paying your bills.”

Most people do this when they get paid:

Salary → Pay bills → Buy things → Save what’s left

But the problem is…
usually nothing is left.

That’s why many people stay stuck living paycheck to paycheck.

Here’s a simple mindset shift that wealthy people use:

Salary → Save/Invest first → Then pay bills → Then spend the rest.

Even if it’s small.
$50.
$100.
$200.

Treat your savings like a bill you must pay every month.

Because the truth is:

Your landlord gets paid.
The electric company gets paid.
Your phone company gets paid.

But many people forget to pay themselves.

And when you consistently save or invest every month, something powerful happens over time…

✅ Your money starts to grow.
✅ Your future becomes more secure.
✅ Your financial stress becomes smaller.

You don’t need to start big.
You just need to start first.

“Your salary can make you a living, but investing can make you wealthy.”

Most people rely only on their salary to survive.
But the truth is… salary alone usually just pays the bills.

Rent.
Groceries.
Utilities.
Transportation.

At the end of the month..minsan ubos na agad.

That’s why many people are now learning about investing.

When you invest your money, you give it the chance to grow over time.
Instead of working only for money… your money starts working for you.

Imagine this: 🤔

If you consistently invest even a small amount every month, over time it can grow through compound growth and market returns.

That’s how many ordinary people slowly build wealth.

Hindi kailangan maging mayaman para mag-start.
Ang kailangan lang ay magsimula.

📌 Start small.
📌 Stay consistent.
📌 Think long-term.

Your future self will thank you. 🤝

TFSA Misconception 🤔

One of the biggest misconceptions in Canada:

People think TFSA is only for savings.

But TFSA can hold investments like:

• Stocks
• ETFs
• Index funds

Which means your money can grow tax-free over time.

This is why TFSA is considered one of the best investment accounts in Canada.

Why TFSA is Powerful? 🇨🇦

Kasi lahat ng growth ng investments mo inside the account is tax-free.

Example:

Kung nag-invest ka ng $10,000
at lumago ito to $20,000

Yung $10,000 gain mo ➡️ walang tax.

so every dollar counts. 💸

Sulitin ang mataas na value ng dollar. 🇨🇦

Investing Mindset

Investing is not gambling.

Real investing is about:

• Long-term thinking
• Consistency
• Patience

Hindi nabubuo ang wealth overnight.
Unti-unti itong binubuo sa tamang habits at tamang mindset.

Remember:
Slow and steady investing wins in the long run. 📈

Why I Started Investing?

One thing I realized about money:
