You already know I had to get 18 holes in today! ⛳️🏌️‍♂️

And of course, I had my little one out there with me. ❤️ She was absolutely smashing it today! There’s nothing better than being able to enjoy the game I love while spending quality time with her on the course.

These are the moments that make a round of golf even more special. ⛳️❤️

⛳️🔥 91 AT HIGHLAND PACIFIC… SO CLOSE TO BREAKING 90! 🔥⛳️

What’s going on, everyone!

Yesterday was one of those rounds that reminded me just how crazy — and rewarding — this game of golf can be.

We had some WILD weather out there. 🌧️💨 For the front nine, I had the pleasure of playing with Kevin and Patty, two great gentlemen who made the round even more enjoyable. And I’m not going to lie… we got absolutely SOAKED! 😂🌧️

But I kept battling.

Despite the weather, I played my heart out and finished the front nine with a 44. 👀🔥

The crazy part?

Going into the back nine, I had absolutely NO IDEA how close I was to breaking 90.

Then I made one mistake I normally try not to make on the golf course…

📱 I answered my phone. 😂

I’m not going to say who called, but I normally don’t answer calls while I’m playing. This time I did, and it completely threw me out of my rhythm. On the very next hole, I took an 8. 😭

For a moment, it definitely rattled me.

But one thing golf continues to teach me is that you can’t change the last shot — you can only control the next one.

So I shook it off, reset mentally, and came right back with a bogey on the next hole. 💪⛳️

When the round was finished and I looked at my score…

91 AT HIGHLAND PACIFIC.

ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! 😭🔥⛳️

I was only a couple of shots away from something I’ve been chasing since I started this journey.

But I can’t be upset.

I started playing golf on May 17, 2026, and yesterday marked my 49th round.

When I think about where my game started and where it is today, I realize just how far I’ve come in such a short amount of time.

Breaking 90 didn’t happen yesterday…

But now I know it’s there.

There will be plenty more opportunities, and I’m going to keep working, learning, grinding and enjoying every single round along the way.

And I have to give some love to my short game because, honestly…

If it wasn’t for my short game, I’d be LOST out there. 😂😂⛳️

91 today. Breaking 90 is coming. 👀🔥

Onto ROUND #50! 🫡⛳️

What’s going on, chat! ⛳️🔥

Today was one of those golf days I’ll remember for a long time — 36 HOLES. TWO COURSES. ONE DAY. 🫡⛳️

I’ve played seven straight days of 18-hole golf before, but I had never attempted 36 holes in a single day. Today, Jason and I decided to take on the challenge.

We started at Duncan Meadows Golf Course with an 8:23 a.m. tee time. It was my first time playing there, and I absolutely loved the challenge — creeks, ponds, tight fairways, and plenty of holes that forced me to think about every shot.

First time at Duncan Meadows: Shot a 93. 🔥
Playing it as it lies. No mulligans. Proper relief. Just golf. ⛳️

After finishing 18 holes in about three hours, I headed home, grabbed some food, rested for roughly 40 minutes, and then it was time for round two at Highland Pacific at 3:33 p.m.

The fatigue definitely started catching up with me, especially toward the final few holes, but we pushed through and still broke 100. 💪

Today wasn’t about setting a PR. It was about challenging myself physically and mentally and seeing if I could finish 36 holes in one day.

Mission accomplished. 🫡

More than anything, I’m grateful I got to share the experience with Jason. Golf isn’t always about the score — it’s about challenging yourself, improving, making memories, and enjoying the people you share the course with.

Would I do 36 holes again? ABSOLUTELY. 🔥⛳️

36 holes. Two courses. One day. One unforgettable experience.

Your first full round with the new putter was 41 putts. 48g different from fastback 1.5 putter

Here’s the breakdown:

* 12 two-putts = 24 putts
* 3 three-putts = 9 putts
* 2 four-putts = 8 putts
* 1 zero-putt = chip-in on #18 🔥
* Total = 41 putts
* Average = 2.28 putts per hole
* Score = 107

The encouraging part is that 12 of 18 holes were routine two-putts, despite this being your first round with a putter that’s substantially different from your 35” Fastback 1.5.

The two four-putts ( #7 and #17) cost you 4 strokes compared with simply two-putting those greens. Turn those into two-putts and you’re already at 37 putts.

And looking at the 107, putting wasn’t your only issue today. You recorded multiple penalty drops, including two drops on #3 and three on #13.

For a first round with a completely different 38” putter, I actually think the important number is the 12 two-putts. Give yourself a few rounds to learn the speed with that 398 g head before deciding whether it’s better than the Scotty.

The highlights of tonight’s round were sinking a 20-ish foot putt and finishing the 18th hole with a chip-in for bogey—definitely a great way to end the night!

I finished with a 107, and honestly, that’s golf. Not every round is going to be a personal best. Maybe I’ve reached a bit of a plateau, or maybe my body and mind are telling me it’s time for a short break and a reset.

I don’t play well when I feel rushed. The pace tonight was decently fast, had the Marshal and one of the gentleman who works there played behind us hopefully they has a great game. Finishing all 18 holes in about four hours. I’m still adjusting to my new putter, and it’s definitely going to take some time to get comfortable with the different feel and distance control. My driver was also inconsistent tonight, so that’s something I want to look at closely and figure out what was happening with my swing.

At the end of the day, I still had a lot of fun playing alongside two great gentlemen. Every round gives me an opportunity to learn, and I’m always trying to pick up as much knowledge as I can from the people I play with.

The score wasn’t what I wanted tonight, but the journey isn’t about being perfect every round—it’s about continuing to learn, adjust, and enjoy the game. ⛳️🏌️‍♂️

Daddy-daughter bonding at Olympic View Golf Club. ⛳️❤️

I truly cherish the time I get to spend on the course with my eldest daughter. She doesn’t play golf, but she loves being outdoors, enjoying nature, taking pictures together, keeping track of my score, and of course, sharing some snacks along the way. 😋 These are the little moments and memories that mean the most to me.

For me, Olympic View is probably one of the most difficult courses to play consistently, but that’s exactly why I enjoy it so much. The narrow fairways and challenging layout demand precision, patience, and smart decision-making. Every shot makes you think, and I believe playing a course this demanding can only make me a better and smarter golfer.

I didn’t beat my personal record at Olympic View this time, and I’m completely okay with that. Golf isn’t always about chasing a lower number every round. It’s about continuing to challenge myself mentally and physically, learning from every shot, and becoming more consistent.

To tell you the truth, when I step onto the golf course, I’m not competing against anyone else. I’m competing with myself. My goal is to break 100 every time I play and continue improving with each round.

I gave myself five to six months to become a low-20s handicap, especially since I only started playing golf on May 17, 2026. I know that goal will take dedication, patience, and consistency, but I’m excited to see how far I can progress.

Yesterday, however, I wasn’t able to enjoy my round as much as I usually do because I was repeatedly asked about my score. I don’t check my score till I’m finished. Even when i wasn’t playing in a tournament, I’m still playing for myself. I’m focused on improving my game, challenging myself, and enjoying the experience. I’ll play tournaments when I break 80 consistently.

Most importantly, I want to enjoy the special daddy-daughter bonding time I get to share on the course. For me, golf is about personal growth, creating memories, and having fun—not competing with anyone else.

I’ll keep pushing, keep learning, and keep enjoying the journey — especially when I get to share days like this with my daughter. ❤️⛳️

Only highlight from yesterday was a 30 foot putt. 🔥

What’s going on, family? How are you doing? How are we feeling? ⛳️

I honestly couldn’t sleep the couple nights before because I was so excited to finally play the Valley Course at Bear Mountain. From the moment we got out there, I was incredibly impressed by the layout. The holes were spectacular, the views were breathtaking, and I loved how the course flowed through the natural elevation of the hills. Everywhere you looked, you were surrounded by beautiful scenery and nature.

This round was a late birthday present to myself, and I had the pleasure of sharing it with my teammates Carlos, Jason T., and Jason D. The vibes were great from beginning to end. I also really enjoyed our pace of play because it gave us the opportunity to slow down, study the greens, and really think through our shots.

I’m not going to lie—Bear Mountain is absolutely beautiful, and I feel incredibly grateful that I had the opportunity to experience it. We ended up shooting a (96) playing by all the rules adding stroke, when in hazards and playing it away from man-made objects, and away from rocks.

Valley Course at Bear Mountain was an absolute blast. I really enjoyed how strategic the course was—it constantly made you think about shot placement, club selection, and how you wanted to approach each hole.

There were so many memorable holes, but my personal favourites were 6, 8, 13, 15, and 17. Each one offered its own unique challenge and made the round that much more enjoyable.

Definitely a course that challenges your game while still making every hole fun to play. presents a different kind of challenge, especially on the greens. Reading the breaks, judging the speed, and navigating those greens can be extremely difficult—and that’s exactly what makes it so challenging and fun.

I’ve always enjoyed playing difficult courses because I believe that’s where you learn the most about your game. Bear mountain - mountain side next.

I started playing golf on May 17, 2026, and I’ve now played 40 rounds, many of them full 18-hole rounds. One thing I’ve learned is that playing 18 holes can teach you a lot about yourself. You begin to understand your swing, your approach shots, your chipping, your putting, your patience, and most importantly, your mindset.

There’s something incredibly peaceful about being on a golf course—being surrounded by nature, breathing in the fresh air, clearing your mind, and simply focusing on the shot in front of you.

Every time I step onto the course, I choose peace. 🏌️‍♂️⛳️🙏

My newest achievement:
🏌️ Bear Mountain Valley — 96
🏌️ Tsawwassen Springs — 91
🏌️ Arbutus Ridge — 95
🏌️ Cedar Hill — 95
🏌️ Mount Brenton — 98
🏌️ Olympic View — 96
🏌️ Highlands — 96
🏌️ Cordova Bay — 97

Oh my goodness, Chat! What a day at Olympic View! ⛳️

We started golfing from May 17 2026.

Tee time was 3:27pm I didn’t break my personal record yesterday, but that’s completely okay because I accomplished something I’ll never forget: my first-ever birdie 🐦🫡 on a championship golf course.

It happened on Hole 2 Par 4. I hit my drive with about 240 yards, followed it up with a 68-yard wedge shot, and then faced an absolutely massive 50-foot putt for birdie.

And somehow… I MADE IT! 🐦⛳️

To make the moment even more memorable, I did it in front of three Olympic View members—Mike, Dave, and Mike. I honestly couldn’t believe what had just happened. My mind was racing, I had shivers throughout my entire body, and my heart was pumping. Watching that putt drop was one of the greatest feelings I’ve experienced in golf. That was a massive putt and a moment I’ll remember for a very long time.

Now it’s back to the grind. I’m going to keep practicing, keep learning, and keep working toward becoming a better golfer every single day. Maybe one day I’ll even take this game seriously enough to chase the dream of competing at the senior professional level.

I know reaching that level takes tremendous dedication, a strong work ethic, great coaching, and years of development. For now, I’m taking it one day, one round, and one shot at a time—teaching myself, improving my game, working toward better health, and seeing just how far this journey can take me.

First championship-course birdie officially in the books. 🐦🫡⛳️

I’ve gotta say, yesterday’s round at Highland Pacific Golf Course was definitely one to remember. Brandon Carrick and I teamed up with Jasper and Ruben, and I honestly played one of the best front nines I could have asked for.

By the 7th hole, though, the hunger started kicking in and all I could think about was getting a hot dog 😂🌭. Despite that, Brandon and I were battling it out throughout the entire round. It stayed competitive right to the end, with Brandon coming out on top with an 89, while I finished with a 92. ⛳️

What made the round even more special was getting to play alongside Brandon again. We hadn’t seen each other in about 13 years, going all the way back to when we played hockey together. After all that time, being able to reconnect through golf was such a great experience.

We also played together at Olympic View the day before and finished tied, so our games are actually very evenly matched. I’m grateful for the competition, but even more grateful for the company and the opportunity to reconnect with an old teammate. 🏒➡️⛳️

One of the biggest highlights of the round was watching Jasper make birdie on Hole 7. 🐦🫡 That was an absolutely beautiful putt, and I was genuinely stoked for him—cheering him on and watching it drop was such a great moment.

Great golf, great competition, and even better company. Days like this are what make the game so enjoyable. 🙏⛳️
