I am a wife, a mother of 6 children, and a nurse by profession. I have also taken on the role of a caregiver to my aging parents. Added to my roles, I am now a digital business owner and mentor of a global online company. I envision to inspire and empower people from all walks of life to become financially stable and make a difference in the lives of others. Originally from the Philippines, I came

to Canada in 2001 as a registered nurse in Winnipeg, Manitoba. I had my own share of struggles as a newcomer, leaving behind my family. Working 12 to 16 hours, even during very cold winter days, being away from my husband and very young children then, having no relative in Winnipeg, getting bullied in the workplace, and so much more. With determination and great support from friends at work and people who have 'adopted' me into their families, encouragement from my family in the Philippines, and a lot of faith and prayers, I survived the difficulties. I understand the struggles of parents when they cannot give their children their basic needs and wants, like joining extra-curricular activies in school. I feel the heartaches of mothers who are away from their children. My heart bleeds for overseas workers who are breadwinners, missing their parents, worried about their health, especially when their parents get sick and finances are a real struggle. I understand the pain of single parents juggling 2 to 3 jobs, to pay rent, for their children's school, and at the same time sending support to their families. I love being a nurse, as a matter of fact, I have been practicing for over 30 years. But the physical demands of my job, long work hours and stress, are taking its toll on me. I am glad to have this digital business because it allows me to enjoy what I love while the automated system works in the background. When I came to Canada as a nurse, I thought hard work alone could give me the life I dreamed of. I worked 16-hour shifts, weekends, even holidays. I gave my best… but I also missed milestones with my children that I can never get back. 💔

Now, as I look forward to retirement, my heart longs for something more. Not just a pension, but true freedom — time with my husband, moments with my aging parents, the chance to travel, and the ability to give more to my children and to charity. 🙏

The first step will always feel the hardest—because you’ll never feel 100% ready.
And that’s okay.
Sometimes we wait…and wait…thinking ‘When I’m more prepared, I’ll move.’
But the truth? That moment of feeling ‘fully ready’ rarely comes.

If God is stirring something in your heart, don’t ignore it. Your delay only gives doubt room to grow.

Take that first small step—kahit hindi ka sure, kahit may takot—because when you do, God reveals the next step. One step at a time, with Him leading.

I’m so grateful I said yes to His calling to help and inspire others. And every single day, He reminds me:
