Our fall 2026 issue of Autostrada Magazine is officially off the press and on its way to subscribers and bookstores across North America.

Our cover feature spotlights Sung Kang (Sung Kang), the acclaimed American actor. During his visit to the Canadian International AutoShow in February we had the privilege of meeting Sung and his team as they introduced their new film, DRIFTER, which is set to premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival this month.

Written, directed by, and starring Sung Kang, DRIFTER is a compelling character study that follows a solitary racetrack custodian whose extraordinary gift for drifting becomes the heart of a moving and visually stunning story. It’s a refreshing departure from traditional motorsport films and one we believe audiences will embrace.

We extend our gratitude to our exceptional team of writers, photographers, contributors, and advertising partners. Their passion, talent, and support continue to make Autostrada Magazine a respected voice within the automotive community.

These are the smiles we drive for.

Yesterday we had the opportunity to take over 500 seriously ill children and their families for unforgettable rides around the track. Pit lane was full of 60 incredible vehicles and passionate owners who showed up to make a difference.

These families are facing battles that no one should ever have to, but for those few minutes out on the track the appointments, surgeries, treatments and worries disappeared. It was simply about having fun.

Everyone in these photos chose to give something of themselves, whether it was their vehicle, time, generosity or all three. They chose to help make a physical difference, and for that we are forever grateful. We collectively raised over $238,000 for the amazing work that Starlight Children’s Foundation Canada does in the community.

A heartfelt thank you to every driver, sponsor, volunteer and everyone who made this event such a success. We are so proud to be part of an automotive community who share the same values and are passionate about making an impact.

Campsites? That correct. More often than not, a lightweight Yakima Skyrise rooftop tent is mounted to the factory roof transport system that can be set up in under two minutes. The goal was a setup that provided the flexibility and convenience of rooftop tent camping without compromising the Porsche’s driving dynamics. The challenge of painting with Ferrari’s Rosso Magma is less about mixing the right formula and more about reproducing the same result every time.

“I spray this colour with the exact same mix. I move faster than you, for example, or my distance from the spray gun to the panel is off by half an inch or an inch, the colour changes,” says European Autoworks shop co-owner, Igor Huber.

That sensitivity is what makes Rosso Magma so difficult to spray. The formula matters, but so do the painter, the booth and the process. Change any one of those variables and the result can change with it.

Our first ever Autostrada Magazine + KNAR Jewellery Cars & Chronos was a great success! Last week we showcased a unique selection of exceptional timepieces from KNAR Jewellery as we celebrated the pinnacle of automotive innovation and watchmaking craftsmanship.

Guest enjoyed a delicious dining experience thoughtfully curated by Michael Hutchinson to compliment the occasion and finished with a cognac tasting by Shayne Stephens.

We were also fortunate to have the Bugatti Chiron Limited Edition by JACOB & CO. on display alongside a stunning exposed carbon fibre Bugatti Chiron Sport generously lent to us from The Mars Collective.

Long before social media turned custom car builders into celebrities, Glenn Botting was building some of Canada’s most distinctive hot rods.

Guided by mentor Bob Smirle and driven by a desire to build something different, Botting developed a reputation for imaginative, award-winning “shock rods” that blended traditional hot-rodding with modern engineering.
