🧡 Every Child Matters — September 30

On September 30, we honour the children who never made it home, the Survivors, and the families and communities forever impacted by residential schools.

Acknowledging this painful history and its ongoing intergenerational impacts is an important part of the reconciliation process. Take time to learn, listen, reflect, and support Indigenous-led programs and initiatives.

Across the country, healing walks, pow wows, ceremonies, and gatherings—like the one held at Oodena Circle in Winnipeg—invite everyone to come together, honour Survivors, and walk toward healing.

Written by sisters Rhiya and Aarya—both passionate equestrians—this book is inspired by the real Stash, Toronto’s only certified therapy mini equine.

Together with illustrator Roksolana, they’ve created a heartfelt reminder that even the smallest among us can make the biggest difference. 💛
