📖 “Some pain doesn’t go away—but it can be remixed into something meaningful.”

This quote from "Pain Remixed" by Joe Lyons-Rising captures the heart of a story that’s as raw as it is inspiring.

Through personal experiences of loss, grief, depression, and anxiety—including losing both parents to su***de at a young age—Joe opens up about the realities of mental health. But more than that, he offers practical tools and a message of hope for anyone navigating their own struggles.

It’s not just a memoir, it’s a guide to healing, grounded in empathy, resilience, and the belief that even our darkest moments can lead to something new. 💛

"This memoir is a celebration of family relationships—those wonderful and, yes, annoying moments that define them—and especially of generational connection through shared passion." – Reader Views Book review on "Rigged" by Tony Cond

"From that perspective, BEING BROKEN is a testament. A key motivator-driver for Jonas is that he survived, while his sister did not, and his call for integrated mental health services (as well as early education on mental health issues) is timely. But Jonas’s own journey deserves notice, too; his growth as an individual, his determination to play the hand he was dealt, and his optimism are causes for celebration." IndieReader Book Review on "Being Broken" by Geoffrey Jonas

"Advantage Equities: Invest Between the Lines and Win," by Philippe Le Blanc, teaches you the ins and outs of investing and the stock market by merging two things: tennis and the stock market. This is a fascinating look at the stock market through the lens of tennis, and the world of tennis through the lens of investing. They have more to do with each other than you might think, and this big, bold book shows you how and why." – Reader Reviews book review on "Advantage Equities" by Philippe Le Blanc

At Tellwell, it’s all about supporting authors—and Ben Belding is at the heart of that mission.

As our Business Development Manager, Ben works on creating opportunities, building strategic partnerships, and launching initiatives that make the publishing process more accessible and collaborative.🤝📚

His focus? Helping authors connect with the right tools, people, and programs to bring their stories to life.

Q: Can you tell us about your role at Tellwell and what your typical workday looks like?

Ben: As Business Development Manager, I’m focused on expanding Tellwell’s reach by identifying new opportunities and building strategic relationships that support both our growth and our authors’ success. My days vary widely—they might involve exploring a new partnership idea, course and program development, publishing consultant, organizing a conference presence, or meeting with a potential imprint leader. At the heart of it all is the goal of making publishing more accessible, guided, and community-driven for authors.

Q: You’ve been focusing on partnerships. What kinds of organizations or professionals are you hoping to collaborate with?

Ben: We’re building relationships with a wide range of collaborators: writing coaches, editors, author community leaders, indie bookstores, universities, and other publishing professionals who are passionate about empowering authors. Whether someone wants to guide authors through publishing more directly, imprints that leverage our infrastructure to support their brand, or simply refer them to a trusted publishing partner, we’ve built flexible options to suit them.

Dr. Mark Tyndall has spent his career advocating for science-based solutions in public health. In this candid interview, he talks about his new book "Va**ng: Behind the Smoke and Fears," a deep dive into the myths, media, and policies surrounding va**ng.

Backed by decades of medical and research experience, Dr. Tyndall makes a compelling case for why science, not stigma, should shape how we approach harm reduction.

Q: Your career has spanned infectious diseases, public health, and harm reduction. What first drew you to focus on to***co harm reduction and the potential of va**ng?

Dr. Mark: It was clear that s*x and drugs could not be stopped and the only way forward was to provide options that would reduce but not eliminate the risk: education, condoms, clean needles, for example. This is harm reduction. So with that background it was pretty clear to me that va**ng was a very effective harm-reduction intervention with global implications. Taking the world’s most deadly activity—smoking cigarettes—and offering a much safer alternative: va**ng ni****ne.

Q: What role do you see misinformation campaigns and media narratives playing in shaping public perceptions of va**ng, especially around youth use?

Dr. Mark: It is currently out of control. Most campaigns against va**ng are just not truthful or based on science, they are based on fear and stigma.

Learn more from Dr. Mark Tyndall.

Two big wins and one unforgettable story. 📚✨

"Mighty Joe Mui" by Jeremy Durgana has just received two awards in the International Impact Book Awards:

🏆 Autobiography – Overcoming Adversity

🏆 Memoir – Inspirational Memoirs

From the dusty roads of rural China to the bright lights of NCAA Division I soccer, Joe Mui’s life is a story of grit, resilience, and defying the odds. Abandoned by the system but never by his own will, Joe's journey takes him from learning English late in life to earning admission to Cornell University—proving that strength doesn't always look like what you'd expect it to.

Behind this powerful book is Canadian author, teacher, actor, and musician Jeremy Durgana, who brings depth, empathy, and storytelling mastery to every page. With a career spanning media, education, and the arts, Jeremy has a gift for turning real-life struggles into inspiring narratives that connect with readers on a human level.

"Mighty Joe Mui" isn’t just a story—it’s a reminder that when underdogs rise, they often shine the brightest.
