Abby Stonehouse scored two goals and was named Team Canada's Player of the Game in their bronze-medal winning 8-1 triumph over Finland today in Zug, Switzerland.
Stonehouse scored back-to-back in the first period to give Canada an early 3-0 lead.
The Blenheim native finished the tournament with four goals and seven assists in Canada's six games.
Stonehouse and Team Canada rebounded from Saturday's disappointing 4-2 loss to Czechia in the IIHF Women's U-18 World Championship semifinals with a solid performance in the bronze-medal game.
Stonehouse had two goals and two assists in Canada's gold-medal victory at the 2023 world championship tournament in Sweden.
