A woman in Florida tried to sue Hershey's for $5 million because the pumpkin-shaped Reese's didn't have the carved faces shown on the packaging. She said the candy looked spooky on the wrapper but was just plain chocolate in real life.

She also called out other Halloween treats for being less spooky than advertised.

But this week, a judge threw the case out. The court said there was no real harm done, and the candy is still exactly what it claims to be, chocolate and peanut butter. – Rae

OPP is reminding everyone to stay safe on the roads after a serious incident on Highway 401 near Hespeler Rd in Cambridge.
The driver was travelling in the eastbound lanes, around 12:30 a.m. near the Hespeler Road exit, when he realized he had a problem with one of his tires.
Instead of pulling over to the shoulder, OPP said the driver stopped in the furthest lane of traffic.
Tragically, he was struck by a passing vehicle while changing the tire on the driver’s side.

He was seriously hurt, but thankfully, his injuries aren’t life-threatening. The driver who hit him did not stay at the scene, and OPP is still looking for that vehicle, which may have damage to the passenger-side mirror.

This could have ended much worse, a few reminders from the cops:
👉 If you’re having car trouble, do everything you can to move off the live lanes, even if it means exiting the highway.
👉 Leave your hazard lights on to alert others.
👉 Never try to fix your vehicle in an active traffic lane, especially at night.
