Radio Laurier is a web-based radio station that re-launched Friday, January 8, 2010 in Waterloo, Ontario, as the official campus radio station of Wilfrid Laurier University. It is a newer department of Wilfrid Laurier University Student Publications (WLUSP), a student-run media organization on campus. Though Radio Laurier has existed in other forms previously, it joined WLUSP in May of 2009 and be

gan revamping its structure and programming to become a professional campus radio station. Radio Laurier recently joined the National Campus and Community Radio Association (NCRA), a collective of over 70 stations across Canada. Radio Laurier seeks to be of service to the campus and community while offering its volunteers a fun, learning experience.

Radio Laurier is recruiting volunteers from across the Waterloo Region! Whether you’re passionate about discovering new music, sharing your opinions, or hosting your own radio show, we’d love to hear from you.

We’re currently looking for:
🎵 Music Assistants
🎙️ Summer Show Hosts
🤠 Country DJs
🎤 Hip-Hop/Rap DJs
🎸 Punk DJs
🌟 Indie/Pop DJs
Don’t see your favourite genre? Pitch us your idea!

Radio Laurier’s 24-hour broadcast marathon is on Tuesday, April 7, starting at 10:00 AM!

We’ll have a nonstop lineup of shows and music running all day and all night, so tune in at anytime and from any place!

You can leave your running shoes at home though.

Golden hawks, we’re doing a tri campus battle of the bands on Friday March 21st at Emmanuel united in uptown Waterloo.
Kindly Hosted with and co presented with our friends and . Each school is sending two bands to battle in front of a panel of scene judges. Show up to see some rad local music and support your school.

We’re stoked to announce our Tri-Campus Battle of the Bands on Saturday, March 21 in Uptown Waterloo, presented by Radio Laurier in partnership with and !

If you’re in a band at Laurier, the University of Waterloo, or the University of Guelph, now’s your time to submit a tape for the chance to be a part of the show!

The submission form can be found in the link in our bio. Deadline for submissions is Friday, March 6. Submissions must be one song, with no limit on duration. Submissions must be provided in a linkable format (YouTube, Soundcloud, etc.).
