Hello 👾👾👾
I'm finally out of hibernation 🥶 So time for more blobs 🩵
Its been a bit since I've made a larger blob and that is mostly because I was working on one in the background for a bit now. Sometimes the process takes a bit.. and I also start like a hundred other projects and exhaust my poor brain. So more about the blob, This blob was created with the experimentation of inserting foam into a shape and watching it spill out. I've been collecting the dried paint skins of paint containers (as one does). specially the ones that stay intact, I then fill them with poly foam. the results have been unpredictable yet satisfying. Because of its nature of looking very spilly and gooey. I leaned onto that element of goo and layered it with hard gels to create this florescent layer all around it.
I'm naming this one Mother-X, its overall shape and ripples remind me of a mutation of some kind. As a mother she's also creating off spring, as these little goo babies start forming out of her skin. Her color scheme also matches the three matching pieces that will be posted later this week 🥲. I see this as my snail series 🐌
