So what does the future of food look like?

Several projects attempt to answer that exact question, including 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗚𝗿𝗼𝘄𝗿𝗼𝗼𝗺, a standing, spherical garden assembled out of CNC-cut plywood. The goal for the project is nothing less than utopic, aiming to both provide a practical means of growing food while also positively reshaping our relationship with it.

Read 𝗙𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗶𝘀 𝗗𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗻: 𝗥𝗼𝗼𝗺 𝘁𝗼 𝗚𝗿𝗼𝘄 - How open source, food-producing architecture can be both an engine for awareness and practical solution to the future of our food.

“Going beyond the sustainability and nose-to-tail ethos of using whole animals or baking bread with kernza, the kitchen pushed themselves to create deliciousness out of ingredients others might discard.” — Matt Orlando

“Mezcal is always my first choice on a drink menu, but it wasn't until I spent time in Oaxaca documenting the process where I really began to appreciate the beauty and intention behind the spirit. I realize that not everybody will have that same opportunity to experience this in person, but my hope is that we become more mindful of the process as we consume the product.” -

Through her series, 𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺 𝗳𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗼𝘄𝘀 (𝗱𝗶𝘀)𝗳𝘂𝗻𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, photographer Peggy Taylor Reid catalogues and documents a range of modern packages that have been collapsed and turned inside out to reveal their interiors and physical design.

In doing so, she challenges us to look beyond the outside of the box to consider how customers are lured with words and images-without feeling the effects of consumerism, recycling, or waste.

At , we believe that You're only as good as the partners you surround yourself with. 👨‍👩‍👧‍👧

So we wanted to take time to highlight the partners that helped make our Equinox Gathering a success.

• Not Far From The Tree is a fruit picking project that is inspired by the spirit of sharing and a passion for environmentally sustainable living.

• An elevated sparkling water that you can drink straight out of the can or mixed with your favourite spirit, so you don't have to water down life's moments.

• Original all weather products for life outdoors. Designed in Canada.

• A brewery that aims to create exceptional and experimental beer, food, and experiences that showcase Canadian flavours and locally farmed ingredients.

• A new kind of hybrid studio that transcends genre, blues mediums and creates temporal worlds. They were the brains behind our Equinox Gathering concept.
