The best diabetes tip I’ve learned in my third trimester? 👇

Don’t wait until your food is in front of you to take your insulin.

As my insulin resistance has increased, I’ve had to be much more intentional about pre-bolusing. It doesn’t always go perfectly, but it can help me stay ahead of those stubborn post-meal spikes.

Growing a baby while managing type 1 diabetes is a full-time job, but we’re stronger than we think. 💙

Switching to stronger insulin in my pump because pregnancy insulin resistance is no joke 😅 Hoping this helps my Omnipod last longer and keeps up with these growing insulin needs.

Technically it’s not approved for Omnipod, so definitely talk to your doctor first if you’re thinking about this, but I want to share my experience trying it out as a T1D pregnancy mama 💙

Pregnancy with diabetes isn’t easy, but diabetic women are some of the strongest people out there. We adapt, we fight through the hard days, and we keep going for our babies.

This is your reminder that you don’t have to be perfect to be a good mom. You just have to keep trying. 🤍

Pregnancy dreams need to calm down because why are they more dramatic than movies lately 😂

Pregnancy has me flying through insulin like never before. Changing my pod today was one of those moments where I just sat there thinking… this little bottle is literally life for me.

It’s becoming more real every day… Training for mom life with stroller walks and sports games with friends kids is fun 🏈⚽️

POV: my family has to physically stop me from talking to every pregnant girl I see 😭

First diabetes made me want to connect with every type 1 diabetic… now pregnancy has me collecting pregnant friends everywhere I go 😂🤰

Protecting my baby comes first, even when it brings up a lot of fear for me 🤍

Getting the whooping cough vaccine during pregnancy was emotional because ever since my type 1 diabetes diagnosis, vaccines have felt triggering and complicated in my mind.

Trying to navigate pregnancy, anxiety, and doing what feels safest for my baby all at once is not easy.

Today I’m officially in my third trimester 🥹

Growing a whole human while watching my body change in ways I never imagined.

Some days it’s been hard to recognize myself, but it’s also made me appreciate just how incredible women’s bodies are.

When I got diagnosed with diabetes, I was terrified giving myself injections for the first time.

Now I am helping my baby sister give injections for egg freezing 🤍💉

Diabetes taught me something I never expected: how to show up for the people I love in moments that feel scary. So grateful I could be there for her through this journey.
