Packing baby’s hospital bag as a first-time mom… and trying so hard not to overpack 😂🤍

There are so many “must-haves” online, but I’m trying to keep it simple and bring only what we’ll actually need. Still can’t believe the next time this bag comes out, we’ll be bringing home our baby boy. 🥹💙

This week, we finally get to meet our baby boy 🩵 I still can’t believe we’ll be someone’s mom and dad. It feels surreal knowing our lives are about to change forever in the best possible way.

This pregnancy has been the most beautiful, emotional, and challenging journey I’ve ever been through.

We are so ready to hold you in our arms and love you for the rest of our lives.

They say spicy food might help kickstart labor, so of course I had to give it a try. The only problem? I can’t handle the heat. 🥵

At this point I’m willing to try all the safe labor myths… but this one might be my biggest challenge yet. 😅

💛 As a Type 1 diabetic mom, I’m doing everything I can to prepare because babies born to moms with diabetes can be at higher risk of low blood sugar after birth. Colostrum is liquid gold and can be given to help support baby’s glucose levels if needed 🤍

I don’t even know how to put these emotions into words. I’m so excited, nervous, and already so in love with someone I haven’t even met yet. These last days of pregnancy feel so surreal, and I can’t wait to finally hold you in my arms. 🩵✨
