////ALBUM ANNOUNCEMENT////

hello friends and fans of Barnudio!
You may have noticed there was no annual release from this camp (see also: Barn) this week. For the last fifteen years straight there has been an album released March first on the Barnudio imprint in conjunction with the "RPM Challenge" (writing/recording an album in February)… This year was a little different.

This year it was Spanned Canyons who set out to record the follow-up to their self-titled debut (2023). Things happen, life happens. But also, amazing circumstances happen. Gary and I travelled to Gladstone Michigan on the Upper Peninsula the weekend of Feb 20 to play for our friends in the PRF at the Terrace Bay Hotel as part of "Thundersnow". So many great bands that weekend. So many good hangs with great people.
Anyway… that weekend ate a little bit into keeping the recording on schedule, and when it was evident the release was going to be late anyway—we decided we should give it a proper entry into the stratosphere (and believe me, this collection of songs IS out in the stratosphere somewhere).

Did we startle you? Happy Halloween!

Here's another surprise for you all… Spanned Canyons has prepared a TREAT! Gary and I played our first live performance at Pretty Lake Michigan in September, and it was recorded so well (thanks Garth! Garth! Garth!) that we are releasing it TODAY!

If you are tired of those old "spooky sounds of Halloween" recordings that you've been using for years to creep out the little trick-or-treaters… look no further! Slap this creepshow on!
