New CJUC Sponsor announcement!

We are upgrading our radio playout computers thanks to our new sponsor - Raven ReTek.

Our old hardware was showing its age and did not have enough juice to handle our live on-air audio processing using Thimeo Stereo Tool. We found with the Raven ReTek team at the Yukonstruct Society Maker Faire and found the ideal refurbished replacement machines to keep our broadcasts sounding clear and running smoothly.

If you are looking for a reliable refurbished computer, tech support, or repair services, we strongly recommend visiting their store to see what they have in stock.

A big thank you to Ben and Ean at Raven Retek for their continued support of CJUC 92.5 FM and community radio.

We’d like to take a moment to publicly thank Computerisms for their outstanding support this week.

Following a website security incident that temporarily took our website offline, the Computerisms team responded quickly to secure our systems, investigate the issue, and safely restore our website.

Their professionalism, expertise, and dedication ensured that no data was lost and that CJUC was back online as quickly and safely as possible.

Computerisms has been a valued partner of CJUC for many years, and we’re incredibly grateful for the care and commitment they continue to show our station.

If you’re looking for knowledgeable, dependable, experienced IT professionals here in the Yukon, we highly recommend Computerisms.

Thank you for everything you do for CJUC 🧡

You don’t need radio experience. You do need to care about community, local arts, local music, and helping keep independent radio alive in Whitehorse.

If you’re the kind of person who likes bringing people together, making things happen, chasing grants, organizing events, or getting excited about community projects, we’d love to hear from you.

Send us a DM or email [email protected].
