I just got back from the most epic chicken run ever! We're now rocking 33 chickens in the backyard! I only wanted 11, but the guy at the colony was like, 'give her 20 for the wait!' because we waiting till they loaded up the horse trailer full of chickens. And the cherry on top? They were only $2 a pop, but I got them for $1 each! My original 9 chickens are totally freaking out about the new additions, but I'm sure they'll get along in no time. I'm officially a full-time egg/chicken farmer and goat farmer now! We're giving the chickens a few days to settle before we start selling eggs again. If you want to get on the egg list, just let me know!
