This weekend is the Walkerville Art Walk and we are honoured to be presenting the live music you’ll be hearing throughout the area! With a stage in Jubilee Park (the garden stage) and a main stage on Wyandotte, we’ll have 14 different musicians and DJs performing between 11am and 9pm. Hope to see you there! 🎨🚶‍♀️✌️

Catch Crissi at Café Amor & Art in the next instalment of A Blaze Of Story.

I’m thrilled to be the next speaker at A Blaze Of Story at Café Amor & Art! I love Cafe Amor and I love events that feature our city’s wonderful storyteller Teajai Travis. I am beyond honoured to tell my story! In fact I’m downright nervous 😂

But my plan is to include lots of audio examples, so I’ll be digging into the deep archives of my earliest material, from one of my very first performances at my high school in the 2000s, to my first studio album recorded in Chicago when I was a baby-voiced folk darling, all the way up to some brand new rough mixes of the recordings I’m working on right now!! And probably I’ll read a poem?!

Join me December 10 at Cafe Amor, 6-7pm. And don’t forget to treat yourself to something delicious because the food and drinks are incredible.

We are heartbroken by the news of Amy Ley’s passing. We were honoured to have worked with her on our concert with 4th Wall back in January. Her enthusiasm for collaboration, breaking down barriers, and connecting more people with the healing power of music was deeply inspiring to experience. She was a lovely, warm, and caring person and she will be deeply missed. 💔

It is with profound sadness that we share the news of the passing of Amy Ley, the visionary Artistic Director of Fourth Wall Music and a brilliant harpist whose music touched countless hearts. ♥️🎶

As an artist, Amy was a rare talent—her harp playing was not just technical mastery but a deep expression of emotion, weaving beauty into every note. As the Artistic Director of Fourth Wall Music, she shaped the organization into a vibrant cultural force, fostering creativity, inclusivity, and excellence in the arts. Under her leadership, Fourth Wall Music became known for its commitment to innovative programming, its dedication to up-and-coming musicians, and its ability to create intimate, transformative experiences for audiences.

Her love for music was matched only by her generosity of spirit. Amy had an uncanny ability to inspire others, whether it was with her captivating perfohonores or her mentorship of young artists. She believed in the power of music to heal, to bring people together, and to spark conversations that transcend barriers. Her legacy is one of unwavering passion, tireless dedication, and an enduring belief in the beauty of collaboration.
