I’ve been working on this account for just over a year now and here’s what I’ve compiled as my “best practices”:

- The more you give the more you get, engage with accounts frequently and in return you will show up at the top of feed, explore pages, etc (Instagram wants you to use their app - NOT just post and ghost!)
- I’ve A/B tested engaging immediately after posting vs. not and you absolutely should engage immediately before and immediately posting for best results
- Instagram “gurus” say hashtags are dead but I always see at least some reach from hashtags alone so IMO, the more the merrier 🤷🏼‍♀️
- Users search for authenticity through the AI noise these days. The human touch of creativity will always win so take the time really strategize your content
- Have FUN! I used to think in order to be successful as a SMM everything had to be perfect but in reality users feel more connected through the less polished lens

Every account and business is unique and so is everyone’s strategies but this is what has worked for me (and continues to!)

- less than 10k total uses

by using them as soon as possible, you’ll ride the viral wave, if you use the audio too late, the peak of the audio wave has already been reached.
