Local 2318 members came together to provide warmth to people in need, collecting 34 coats, 28 hoodies and jackets and 3 big bags of hats, scarves, and mittens for Windsor-Essex HART Hub.
Remember we are also holding a food drive! Just bring your non-perishable items to any branch of the Essex County Library from now until December 20th!

Hey Everyone! Essex County Library Workers CUPE Local 2318 in conjunction with the Essex County Library are holding a food drive!
Bring any non-perishable items to your local branch of the ECL and we will distribute to local foodbanks in each municipality. The drive runs from November 17 - December 20.

This weekend CUPE Local 2318 Executive members, Lori Wightman and Zoe Mastellotto attended a viewing of The Librarians documentary as part of the Windsor International Film Festival.

An important film documenting the recent attacks on intellectual freedom through book bans and the librarians standing up and fighting back. See it if you get the chance! And as always, support your local libraries!
