Alcohol has had a devastating impact on my family, with its presence woven into the fabric of our lives. Growing up, it was normalized - always on the table, always shots with company. But being part of it, I didn't see the damage it was causing. I dont think anyone does or does now. After 15 years of being drug-free, I've also managed to stay alcohol-free for a year and a half. Breaking the generational cycles of addiction has been one of the hardest and most rewarding experiences of my life. I still miss the culture and camaraderie that came with it, but none of that compares to the pride I feel in taking control of my life. This will be my legacy: stopping the cycle.

Best wishes to everyone today. Five women from our household are enrolled in a week-long trades training program and must pass a rigorous math exam. Having dedicated themselves fully to studying, passing this exam will grant them access to a fully funded training program at St. Clair College, followed by an apprenticeship. We are extremely excited.

At house of hope we continue to raise the bar and we know we can do anything we put the effort in, of your going to transition we want you to leave with as many tools as possible. Grateful for all the community programs available.

Huge thanks to our community for recognizing House of Hope as a top community service! We're thrilled to have surpassed Gold and taken the Platinum spot. We love what we do, and it's an honor to be recognized. This shines a light on the amazing work being done in our community, and we're grateful to have been voted alongside such great agencies. We extend our gratitude to Heart & Hands Restart and Michelle Stewart for providing blessing bags that complement our welcome home packages. These bags are thoughtfully placed on the bed or dresser of each new individual arriving at House of Hope, ensuring they receive essential items with dignity. The bags contain fundamental necessities such as socks, razors, toothbrushes, wash puffs, shampoo, conditioner, soap, lotion, elastics, feminine hygiene products, deodorant, and face masks. Often, the first requests we receive are for showers and sleep. It indeed takes a village. Thank you. Heart & Hands Restart Michelle Stewart

We are grateful for Jill's art class, where we expressed our emotions through drawing and connected with each other on a deeper level. It was therapeutic to unwind and tap into our creativity. Community support like this is invaluable for our healing journey. Art truly nourishes the soul, providing a healthy outlet for emotions and fostering growth.

Recovery baseball league 🙏
Launch Pad Recovery Center & House of hope Windsor
1st year we have a team together won 1 and lost 1 today 🙂 This had been such a great outlet for fellowship, getting some fun in the sun and a little competition! Practice every Saturday and the games in Sunday for the season.

Reach Out Chatham-Kent ROCK Provides outreach support for those experiencing homelessness. Harm reduction, food, wound care, personal hygiene and helping to connect community supports. It takes a village !
