Here’s to the unglamorous nights… the random Sundays playing deep cuts and left-field bangers we were busy scouring the internet for the night before at 4:30am to a half empty room of drunken lost souls. to the speakers crackling and popping while playing b-side cuts of Aphex Twin on a Tuesday night to a crowd of people that came for the acoustic act that played just before you. This is Phog Lounge! It gets weird and proper fu***ng messy some days. And that’s what makes it unmistakable! Here’s to looking for the homies in a smoked out Phog Lounge buzzed off $6 pints of domestic fumbling over cables and bu****it trying to turn off the fogger because we let it go on too long and now it’s out of control. Dancing Cocktail cut its teeth here. These problems might still happen every once in a while but we’re fu***ng learning our craft of trying to throw the best events in this city. Not for any other reason than we love this music and this scene so damn much that we want to share the best of the best with you all. NYE PHOG 2000 is a party where we can reminisice on how we and so many of you called this place home. We’re bringing in a bangin sound system, proper lights and quite literally the best 90s and 2000s inspired tunes we can possibly find. And even better yet we’re making tickets stupid cheap for a NYE party because we’re not in this to make money. We simply want to celebrate one final time and dance our hearts out with the community.
