Charlie Chaplin once told a joke in front of an audience..!!
Everyone laughed and he told it a second time but only a few laughed.
When he told it for the third time, no one laughed.
Then he said beautiful words.
"If you can't laugh and laugh at the same joke, why do you cry and cry at the same pain and sorrow? Enjoy every moment of your life because nothing in this life is permanent not even our problems, the day you waste the most in your life is the day you don't laugh".

Choose peace over chaos.
If someone drains your energy, you're allowed to step back. Protecting your heart isn’t selfish — it’s self-respect. 💛

I was struck by Bea Alonzo’s quiet wisdom when she said, “I choose not only friends, I choose the people I surround myself with… Hindi ko gusto ang toxic.”

As you grow, you learn that peace is fragile and the heart is not a place for everyone to enter.

You begin to realize that not all kindness is pure, not all praise is sincere, and not every smile is safe.

God gives us these subtle signs, these little discomforts, so we can discern early who is meant to walk with us and who is meant to stay outside the gates of our peace.

In the end, the ones you keep close are not the loudest, not the sweetest, not the most flattering, but the most genuine.

The right people don’t just protect your name, they protect your peace. And the moment you choose them wisely, you choose yourself wisely too.
