We teach a new style of swing each week. Note: Jive is often easiest to learn.

Join us every Tuesday, at various outdoor locations this summer, for a free crash course in swing dancing starting at 7 pm followed by a social swing dance from 7:30 - 9:30 pm.

Free dance lesson and social swing dance this Tuesday, June 10 at St. Vital Park near the duck pond.

Join us outside every Tuesday for The Swing Thing this summer. Whether you're new to swing or a seasoned dancer, it’s the perfect way to get your groove on and connect with our amazing dance community.

🕖 Crash Course in East Coast Swing: 7:00 PM
🕢 Social Dance: 7:30–9:30 PM
📍 Location: St. Vital Park, Duck Pond
💲Tickets: 100% FREE

What to Bring:
• Non-grip shoes (we dance on concrete or grass)
• A water bottle to stay hydrated
• Comfortable clothing to move in

Basic Dance Etiquette:
• Be kind and respectful to all dancers
• Always ask politely for a dance, and accept "no" graciously.
• Keep good hygiene – freshen up before the dance and bring deodorant if needed.
• Be mindful of the space around you to avoid bumping into others.

Starting in June (next Tuesday) we are moving our events outside for the summer. You'll still get all the wonderful music, but since we aren't paying for a venue, admission is free.

This week we'll be meeting at St. Vital Park. The beginner lesson is still at 7 pm. Social dance from 7:30-9:30 ish pm. Bring your friends, and a water bottle. Email us at [email protected] if you have any questions.

Just follow the music and you'll find us.

Hey fellow dancers! Josh Petik and I ( Kalie Peters ) are having our wedding social on May 10th at Norberry-Glenlee Community Centre and would love to see some more dancers on the floor! Our DJ is already planning to play swing music, but the more swing dancers who show up, the more swing-able music we’ll spin — so bring your shoes and your energy!

We had a blast dancing to the Dixie Beats Big Band at the UMSwing Dance Club open house last Wednesday! It was fun to meet all the new dancers and catch-up with the other alumni. Shoutout to everyone involved with the showcase. Your routine was fun and fabulous at the same time!
