You know the NDP are messing up when even the unions are turning on them... 😬
Recently the NDP circulated its mass newsletter, which goes out to all their supporters, asking for financial support to help hit their ‘summer fundraising goal of $125K.’
In the email, which was signed by the Health Minister, it read, “We’re investing in recruitment and retention, including new healthcare training seats and improving the culture in healthcare by listening to those on the frontlines.”
MNU has called for action in the past. We’ve said enough with the Listening Tour, it's time to make some significant changes to healthcare culture.
Culture can be measured by the people allowed to remain in management positions. It would be good for this government to know if employees trust leadership and if they feel valued at work.
Culture is all about buy in. It would be good to know if the frontline sees the changes that have been announced and if they feel these changes are healthy for the system.
Culture can be measured in job satisfaction. If a frontline worker files a complaint about their workplace, how are these issues being dealt with?
Perhaps it’s time to share some of what was learned on the Listening Tour with Manitobans? Instead of reiterating election promises, perhaps its time for Manitobans to learn of the findings from the Tour and what’s being done about culture.
