The spawn cape in vector art was a delight to play with. I could draw that thing all day long. I Watched the Spawn animated series while working on this-which I had seen bits and pieces of growing up, but never the entire thing.

“Kid in a cape”

I should really have more superman in my portfolio. As my mom will be quick to tell you, a good chunk of time as a toddler was spent wearing a tea towel as a cape as I tore through the house.

The latest movie was truly delightful, made me feel like that kid wearing a towel cape all over again

I have been doing Artists Alleys since 2008, and I have been given a LOT of lanyards and badges over the years. I'm always thrilled when the con actually put some effort into a fun design - And am really disappointed when it's some giant corporate company sponsored lanyards with nothing but a repeated logo- those are tossed out immediately.

If you attended the Saskatoon, Montreal, or will be at Ottawa, Quebec or Winnipeg cons as a vendor or artist, you might have received one of my lanyards for your badge! Thrilled to be a tiny art sponsor of those amazing cons.

My mission with these was: make something that people will actually keep and use after the cons, make the art the focus, keep the sponsorship subtle.
