Signature Editions is a literary press with an eclectic list of quality fiction, non-fiction, poetry and drama. Originally named Nuage Editions, the press was formed in Montreal in 1986 as a 16-person publishing collective. The first desktop publisher in Quebec, we put out two to four books a year for the next five years. For the past sixteen years, the press has operated as a sole proprietorship

run by Karen Haughian and has published six to nine titles a year. In 1997, after eleven years of operation in Montreal, the press moved to Winnipeg and in the year 2000 was renamed Signature Editions. If you have any questions or require any info, please contact us any time at [email protected]

Join Dan Yashinsky on Thursday, June 12 at 7pm EDT for an informal and participatory talk about how we can become a “storykeeper” for our loved ones. When his son Jacob died in a tragic accident in 2018, Dan began to collect all of Jacob’s sayings and doings, writing them the way he imagined Jacob might tell them himself. Written in grief, this loving and often funny chronicle became I Am Full.

After readings from his book, Dan will invite participants – if you are comfortable doing so – to share your own experiences as a storykeeper.

May is Prader-Willi Syndrome Awareness Month, a genetic disorder that occurs in approximately one out of every 15,000 births. It is recognized as the most common genetic cause of life-threatening childhood obesity.
As someone living with PWS, Jacob Evan Yashinsky-Zavitz faced tremendous physical and mental/emotional obstacles growing up. Despite these struggles, Jacob never let PWS defeat him, and he became an advocate for people suffering from PWS.
