The journal attempts to reflect, engage and extend the ideas inherent within the various departments that fall within the interdisciplinary vision of the Faculty of Architecture at the University of Manitoba. The Warehouse Journal is a non-profit student effort that relies on the support and financial patronage of industry, academics, professionals, faculty, students and all others associated with its production and sales.

A huge congratulations to Bianca, Liam, and Maddie for becoming the newest Warehouse Journal Volume 34 editors!

As a team, they curated a thoughtful proposal for this year’s WHJ and share passion and excitement for what’s next.

As volume 33 editors, we are officially signing off and feel very confident leaving this position in their capable hands!

Warehouse Journal Volume 33 Launch. 🤎

The night we have been working towards and waiting for since the beginning of this process. No words can describe the gratitude we have for everyone who attended and took the time to look through the 264 pages of thoughts and diverse projects. Thank you to everyone who has supported this endeavour and realized the significance it holds for our community and faculty. This year Winnipeg celebrates 150 years as a city and as a part of Treaty One Territory the home and traditional lands of the Anishinaabe (Ojibwe), Ininew (Cree), and Dakota peoples, and the National Homeland of the Red River Métis, Winnipeg has long been an important place for community.

As a city filled with stories, history, and memories, we want to share them and connect as a greater whole. Winnipeg’s past paves the way for our future and we encourage you to reflect on your relationship with the city.
