We love a good transition 🌌→ ☀️

With our recent Summit Creative Awards win, thought it'd be a good time to look back at how we used lighting & colour to create this transition during our The Dream Factory shoot earlier this year.

Besides looking cool (at least we think so), this transition creates a visual parallel with the family’s emotional journey throughout the piece. As the story unfolds, viewers experience a transition from the cold uncertainty into the familiar warmth of The Dream Factory with the child.

South Korea has been a big part of our business these past few years, between our Team Canada Trade Missions to South Korea and partnerships with local Korean businesses like & (more on that soon 👀).

So when reached out to include us in this recent article for , it was an honour. She highlighted how our pivot to YouTube content during the pandemic, which eventually led to government-backed trade missions in South Korea, is a case study in what she proposes as the future of the Canadian media landscape: a South Korean strategy, translated through Canada’s strengths in cultural diversity and storytelling.

For us, it’s been amazing to experience and learn from Korean culture along the way, and a reminder that as Canadian businesses, we should be looking to international markets for inspiration.

Our face when we open Manitoba’s first ground-level virtual production studio: 😎

In case you haven’t already heard: we partnered with to open .xr. The response at our launch last Wednesday has been astounding.

Virtual production is a new approach to filmmaking; crews can shoot any “location” on an LED wall, giving Manitoba productions flexibility, control, and quick turnaround times.

What got us most excited? Watching local producers, agencies, and creatives see how we’re keeping budgets, talent, and opportunities right here — all while helping the province compete globally.

We designed AVRO XR specifically for the work happening here: commercials, film & TV, corporate videos, tourism campaigns, and more. Ground-level access means no more logistical headaches for filming car shots.

This launch is just the beginning, and we’re excited to be part of the future of production in Manitoba!

It’s not everyday you fly across the world to have a signing ceremony with LG in Korea ✈️🇰🇷

We are thrilled to share that we have signed a Memorandum of Understanding with LG Electronics. The signing ceremony, held during the 2025 Canadian Creative Industries Trade Mission to East Asia, represents years of partnership and a shared vision for the future of virtual production.

This milestone is the result of years of collaboration: showcasing LG’s MAGNIT LED tiles at InfoComm 2023; visiting LG during our first Team Canada Trade Mission to South Korea in 2024; hosting LG at CoPilot HQ in Winnipeg in 2024.

In our tight-knit virtual production industry, building strong relationships is everything. This formalized partnership drives innovation forward and strengthens our ability to serve clients through our network of trusted technology partners.

Back for round 2 🇰🇷🇯🇵

We’re back to rep Canadian creatives internationally, this time at the 2025 Canadian Creative Industries Trade Mission to East Asia! After a successful Trade Mission to South Korea in 2024, we’re excited to continue developing the strategic partnerships forged on that first visit.

Over the next two weeks, we’ll have the opportunity to build relationships with South Korean and Japanese partners and showcase our work in the virtual production, XR, and AI industries in:
Seoul
Busan
Tokyo
Osaka

Some highlights from the itinerary:

🎤 A stop at the Canada Pavilion at the World Expo 2025, where co-founder will be speaking on an AI & Creative Industries panel alongside of , Anita Lee, Chief Programming Officer at , and Paul Ruskay of Studio X. He’ll also be showcasing our flagship AI tool, FlightDeck.

🎞️ A trip to the Busan (via the bullet train!!) to check out the Busan Cinema Center, home of the .

🗾 A final gala at the Embassy of Canada to Japan, in Tokyo to wrap up the trade mission.

As the only Manitoba company selected to represent the Creative Industries, we are incredibly proud to have another opportunity like this through Canada’s Creative Export Strategy. A big thank you to .affairs.canada & .heritage for making these trade missions possible.
