There's lots of video companies out there, so what makes us different? We were making content that was meeting the status quo - It looked good and had some small levels of impact. But we grew stagnant and asked ourselves "is this the best we can do?"

We looked into research on how we could have more impact in our work? We challenged ourselves to look deeper into how our clients could communicate

and achieve their goals. And at every turn we checked ourselves to make sure we were giving the best experience possible. We've made our mistakes and learned from them. We learned that emotional content always wins as we are talking to humans that make every decision based on their emotions (that's right B2B industry!). We learned the power of story and how to tell it effectively. So here we are: poised to work hard towards finding the best solution to connect you with your audience. Want to learn more? The first child in Manitoba to receive cochlear implants.

We originally made this piece for Public City Architecture Inc back when there submission for Canada's 2SLGBTQI+ National Monument was still just a proposal. Five years later, Thunderhead is opening this Friday.

A great teacher can shape who you are as a person and help get you out of your comfort zone. We were lucky enough to see this first hand when making this piece for Manitoba Teachers Society

Sometimes you don't need to wait for something to be finished to start showing it off.

That was the situation with G3. Their facility wasn't built yet, so we animated it, a 3D version of the loop system that ran exactly the way it would once construction wrapped. People could see it work before it existed.

No waiting on construction. Just the finished idea, ready early.

Some ideas are just easier to imagine than to create in real life.

That's the whole case for animation, and it's a lot of what we do: taking complicated processes and turning them into simple, visual stories for clients. So this time, we turned the focus on ourselves and made an animated explainer about how we make animated explainers.

We partnered with the Manitoba Nurses Union to make an award winning piece about what it actually means to be a nurse. Not the highlight reel version. The real one. The exhaustion, the weight of it all, and the choice to keep showing up anyway.

Mixing animation and live action is one of our favourite things to do, and this piece for Telpay is a good example of why.

The animate content keeps it real. The scripted section keeps it fun. Put the two together and you've got something that's harder to scroll past.

We had a good time making this one.
