New review from Thomas regarding the upcoming single “Better Days” from Sleep/less. Release date should be October 9.

It has been a little over a year since the last single release from Sleep/Less. So, imagine my excitement when I recently had the chance to preview their newest music video which will accompany their upcoming single, "Better Days." The video immediately establishes a nostalgic vibe, as the host guides us through what I'll call a "Much" needed countdown through music videos that collectively shaped the landscape of music in the 2000s. The initial dark ascetics contrast with the brightness of the television, depicting music videos that are familiar to anyone who grew up in the 2000s.

The song itself wastes no time with a quick pace and steady dose of catchy riffs matched with solid percussion that you can always expect from a seasoned band such as Sleep/Less. The tune matches the vibe of the video, navigating you through a tribute to bands that inspired the tracks we have all come to appreciate from Sleep/Less. Leading you from the past to modern day Sleep/Less performing the title track. The band is a perfect example of not taking yourself too seriously while still putting forth a professional, top-quality product, which bleeds through the video.

Overall, it's just the right amount of nostalgia that will surely trigger a reaction. Stellar work that clearly shows even after all this time, Sleep/Less continues to grow into the best version of themselves, and leaves you with the impression that even better days are ahead.

Huge thanks to the Bands who played the PegCity Soundoff event last night hosted by Thomas Henry. Fun night with great music…..but as always…we are already onto the next. More details coming tomorrow regarding the Dec 12 show at Osborne Taphouse…you won’t want to miss it.
