ਭਾਰਤੀ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਨੇ ਦਿੱਲੀ ਦੇ ਨੇੜੇ ਕਿਰਾਏ ਦੀ ਰਿਹਾਇਸ਼ੀ ਇਮਾਰਤ ਤੋਂ ਜਾਅਲੀ ਦੂਤਾਵਾਸ ਚਲਾਉਣ ਦੇ ਦੋਸ਼ ਵਿੱਚ ਇੱਕ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਨੂੰ ਗ੍ਰਿਫ਼ਤਾਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਜਾਅਲੀ ਡਿਪਲੋਮੈਟਿਕ ਪਲੇਟਾਂ ਵਾਲੀਆਂ ਕਾਰਾਂ ਬਰਾਮਦ ਕੀਤੀਆਂ ਹਨ।

ਉੱਤਰੀ ਭਾਰਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਉੱਤਰ ਪ੍ਰਦੇਸ਼ ਰਾਜ ਦੀ ਵਿਸ਼ੇਸ਼ ਟਾਸਕ ਫੋਰਸ ਦੇ ਸੀਨੀਅਰ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀ ਸੁਸ਼ੀਲ ਘੁਲੇ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਸ਼ੱਕੀ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਨੇ ਇੱਕ ਰਾਜਦੂਤ ਦਾ ਭੇਸ ਧਾਰਨ ਕੀਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਵਿਦੇਸ਼ੀ ਰੁਜ਼ਗਾਰ ਦਾ ਵਾਅਦਾ ਕਰਕੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪੈਸੇ ਲਈ ਠੱਗਿਆ।

ਪੁਲਿਸ ਦੇ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ, 47 ਸਾਲਾ ਹਰਸ਼ਵਰਧਨ ਜੈਨ ਨੇ "ਸੇਬਰਗਾ" ਜਾਂ "ਵੈਸਟਾਰਕਟਿਕਾ" ਵਰਗੀਆਂ ਸੰਸਥਾਵਾਂ ਦੇ ਸਲਾਹਕਾਰ ਜਾਂ ਰਾਜਦੂਤ ਵਜੋਂ ਕੰਮ ਕਰਨ ਦਾ ਦਾਅਵਾ ਕੀਤਾ।

ਘੁਲੇ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਨੇ ਜੈਨ ਨੂੰ ਵਿਸ਼ਵ ਨੇਤਾਵਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਦਰਸਾਉਂਦੀਆਂ ਕਈ ਛੇੜਛਾੜ ਕੀਤੀਆਂ ਤਸਵੀਰਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਭਾਰਤ ਦੇ ਵਿਦੇਸ਼ ਮੰਤਰਾਲੇ ਅਤੇ ਲਗਭਗ ਤਿੰਨ ਦਰਜਨ ਦੇਸ਼ਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਜਾਅਲੀ ਮੋਹਰਾਂ ਬਰਾਮਦ ਕੀਤੀਆਂ ਹਨ।

ਘੁਲੇ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਜੈਨ 'ਤੇ ਵਿਦੇਸ਼ਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਸ਼ੈੱਲ ਕੰਪਨੀਆਂ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਮਨੀ ਲਾਂਡਰਿੰਗ ਦਾ ਵੀ ਸ਼ੱਕ ਸੀ। ਉਸ 'ਤੇ ਜਾਅਲਸਾਜ਼ੀ, ਨਕਲ ਅਤੇ ਜਾਅਲੀ ਦਸਤਾਵੇਜ਼ ਰੱਖਣ ਦੇ ਦੋਸ਼ ਵੀ ਹਨ।

ਪੁਲਿਸ ਨੇ ਰਾਜਧਾਨੀ ਦੇ ਨੇੜੇ ਜੈਨ ਦੇ ਕਿਰਾਏ ਦੇ ਅਹਾਤੇ ਤੋਂ ਨਕਲੀ ਡਿਪਲੋਮੈਟਿਕ ਪਲੇਟਾਂ ਵਾਲੀਆਂ ਚਾਰ ਕਾਰਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਲਗਭਗ 4.5 ਮਿਲੀਅਨ ਭਾਰਤੀ ਰੁਪਏ (£38,000) ਅਤੇ ਹੋਰ ਵਿਦੇਸ਼ੀ ਮੁਦਰਾਵਾਂ ਨਕਦ ਬਰਾਮਦ ਕੀਤੀਆਂ, ਜੋ ਕਈ ਦੇਸ਼ਾਂ ਦੇ ਅੰਤਰਰਾਸ਼ਟਰੀ ਝੰਡਿਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਸਜੀਆਂ ਹੋਈਆਂ ਸਨ।

Gurugram. BMW Group India has announced a change in personnel at the helm with Mr. Hardeep Singh Brar being appointed as the President and Chief Executive Officer effective 1 September 2025.

Mr. Hardeep Singh Brar succeeds Mr. Vikram Pawah who is taking charge as Chief Executive Officer of BMW Group Australia and New Zealand.

CBSA officers seize 70 kg of co***ne at Osoyoos port of entry in B.C.

Today, the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) announced a significant seizure of suspected co***ne being smuggled into Canada at the Osoyoos port of entry in British Columbia.

On June 11, 2025, border services officers at Osoyoos port of entry examined the pick-up truck of a Canadian citizen who was returning to Canada from the United States. Upon examination of the vehicle’s truck bed, officers found bricks of co***ne weighing a total of 70 kg. This is the largest co***ne seizure at this port of entry and represents an estimated 140,000 individual doses.

The CBSA arrested the driver who was then transferred to the custody of the RCMP Federal Policing – Pacific Region.

Parents and Grandparents Program intake opens in late July.

Ottawa, July 16, 2025—As announced earlier in 2025, Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) will accept up to 10,000 complete applications for sponsorship under the Parents and Grandparents Program this year. Starting on July 28, 2025, and over the course of approximately two weeks, IRCC will send invitations to apply to interested potential sponsors.

Anyone who submitted an interest to sponsor form in 2020 but has not yet received an invitation to apply is encouraged to check the email account they provided in 2020. They should make sure to check their junk and spam folders.

Due to the number of forms remaining in the pool of interest to sponsor submissions from 2020, IRCC will send invitations to apply to potential sponsors from that pool instead of opening a new interest to sponsor form.

Those invited to apply as part of the 2025 intake can submit their applications electronically through the Permanent Residence Portal or the Representative Permanent Residence Portal.

Those who are not invited this year may consider having their parents or grandparents apply for a super visa, which is a multiple-entry visa that is valid for up to 10 years. Super visa holders can stay in Canada for 5 years at a time, with the option to extend their visit by up to two years at a time without leaving the country.
