isn't it terrific that Julian Taylor's coming back to do another Winnipeg show?! He was here at the WECC last year. Was he at Folk Fest too? If there's anyone I wouldn't mind hearing again, and again, I believe he's the one. Coming to the Park Theatre in November.

Now, who's been wondering lately about Thom Yorke or Radiohead?

This series of lino prints shows a figure commanding a forceful wave, washing across iconic London landmarks.

After coming across the Liber Chronicarum, a 15th century illustrated encyclopaedia of the world, produced in Nuremberg by an illustrator who had never left Nuremberg, Stanley created a rule for producing the images of the London skyline...

‘I couldn’t actually go into London and look at anything. Instead, I had to base my images on tourist postcards or my memory.’

These images form the album artwork for Thom Yorke’s 2006 album The Eraser.

See them up-close at This Is What You Get: Stanley Donwood, Radiohead, Thom Yorke, open until 11 Jan. Delve deeper into the stories behind the pieces with the exhibition catalogue: https://www.ashmolean.org/exhibition/this-is-what-you-get-stanley-donwood-radiohead-thom-yorke

TEMPLE of JAZZ on 95.9 fm / www.ckuw.ca

Temple of Jazz is usually heard 11 am thru 1 pm on alternating Saturdays. Tucked up high and away at the CKUW studios (parvus sed potens) - in the University of Winnipeg in the heart of the city, Temple of Jazz is situated at the broad cross-ways of relaxation and excitation.

In its place, we’re pleased to bring you some of the ‘best of jazz radio’ - shows from the archives of JAZZ BOULEVARD by Moz Taylor of Montreal, PQ. Very cool. Try it out soon! [https://jazzboulevard.ca/]
