We are a live broadcast, internet only, campus and community college radio station based in the Annapolis Valley in Wolfville near Kentville and 45 minutes outside Halifax, Nova Scotia. We are based at Acadia University and affiliated with local non-profits and entities such as Deep Roots Music, Fundy Film Society, Valley Events, the Acadia Students Union and we are a proud affiliate to the Acadia University Alumni Association.

Axe Radio is appalled at the recent cuts to student support staff at Acadia announced yesterday, March 11th. The impact this will have on students is horrendous, and we stand in solidarity with all students affected. As an organization dedicated to uplifting the student voice, we stand in full support of all non-violent student action taken in response to these cuts. Over the next few days, we will be sharing petitions and letters you can share with your elected officials. If axe radio can do anything to support your student action, please reach out.
