Well we took delivery of our Neve 8424 Console. It’s everything plus more on what they said it can do. It’s that Neve sound for sure. We can can record and process in 95% Analoge. Or we can do processing 50% analog and 50% digital. Totally up to you how you want it done. So if your just a bedroom player and would love to record your sound on a real recording console come over and come on in . You just maybe surprised how affordable it is. If you a seasoned player we have all sorts of levels to work with your project in mind. We can record, edit mix and produce your music . Give us a call or come on over. We open most of the time. Well we have come a long way since we opened up the doors to ARCHTOP STUDIOS. We now have the Neve 8424 console as the center piece for the studio. We have come a long way. The 8424 is a dream to work on. The sound is to die for, hey it’s a Neve. We are now a 95% analog. We can do both actually digital and analog. The 12ft X 24 ft live room is now treated and the control room is very treated also. We have a huge selection of Mic Pre’s, Eq’s, effects, and compressors. We have 30 microphones from various different manufacturers. We have many different packages for a seasoned pro or a newbie taking there first step into the recording world. We can accommodate it all. We have back up musicians on call when needed. So if ya want that analog sound that most people are looking for, at ARCHTOP STUDIOS, we got it. Drop by and take a peek and we can discuss the best approach and recording package for you. One song 20 songs were good to go.

MY LOVE FOR MUSIC

I started as a musician over 50 years ago. Over time I learned to play more instruments, drums, harmonica, six and 12 string guitar plus bass guitar. My latest endeavor is the pedal steel guitar. I just love this instrument. It is not easy to learn and have been at it for almost 4 years and it slowly coming along. Over the years my love also went to the recording side. So after taking two years off from playing and spent the time learning all what I would need to start recording, I started to buy recording gear. It took a few years to buy and sell and upgrade my equipment to what I have now. Owning a high end recording studio is not for the faint of heart financially. So my studio is all about giving a world class recording studio for musicians that can not afford the usual high prices. I am hear to help the Atlantic Canada musician achieve there dreams of one day recording in a high end recording studio. That’s my story and I am picking to it..
