A SALUTE TO EXCELLENCE: DR. ALEX CHIOMA OTTI, THE PEOPLE'S GOVERNOR

In the heart of Abia State, a new dawn has broken — a season of transformation, hope, and visionary leadership, all championed by one man: Dr. Alex Chioma Otti. This is not just governance as usual; this is leadership with a purpose, driven by integrity, guided by foresight, and anchored in the desire to build a better Abia for all.

From the commercial nerve of Aba to the administrative core of Umuahia, and across the vast stretches of our rural communities, Dr. Otti has redefined what it means to serve the people. Today, Aba breathes with renewed vigor — its roads smooth and wide, its streets clean, its markets alive again with possibilities. The once-neglected industrial spirit of the Enyimba City is roaring back to life under his watchful eyes and deliberate policies.

Umuahia, our proud capital, is no longer a city in waiting — it is finally becoming the center of pride and administration it was meant to be. With strategic infrastructure, a revived sense of dignity, and a focus on urban renewal, the capital city is wearing the garment of progress it has long deserved.

Every corner of the State now feels the pulse of development. Roads are not just being built; they are being connected — linking farmers to markets, children to schools, traders to customers, and dreams to reality.

But beyond the concrete and the construction, it is the joy of the ordinary Abian that tells the true story — a story of trust restored, of hope rekindled, and of a government that listens, acts, and delivers.

Indeed, Dr. Alex Otti is not just building roads; he is building confidence. He is not just transforming cities; he is transforming lives. He is not just leading; he is inspiring.

Bravo to the People’s Governor — a man who came not just to govern, but to serve, to heal, and to uplift. Abia stands today as a model of what is possible when vision meets action.

We say Daalu, Sir. The journey is still young, but the direction is right. The people are with you. History will remember you.

Onyeisi, ride on — Abia is rising!

Federal High Court Orders Senate to Reinstate Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan

Justice Binta Nyako of the Federal High Court in Abuja has directed the Senate to immediately reinstate Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan, representing Kogi Central, ruling that her six-month suspension was both excessive and unconstitutional.

In her judgment, Justice Nyako noted that the Senate's actions—citing its Standing Rules and Section 14 of the Legislative Houses Powers and Privileges Act—overstepped legal bounds and lacked defined limits for suspension. She stressed that with senators sitting only 181 days in a legislative year, a six-month suspension would deny a constituency nearly a full year of representation.

The court acknowledged the Senate’s right to discipline its members but insisted that such disciplinary measures must not violate the constitutional rights of the people who elected them.

A SALUTE TO A SERVANT- LEADER: HON. IBEKWE NNAMDI CHIMDI – Oziomachi

In the heart of Bende North, a light shines brightly—an embodiment of visionary leadership and compassion. Hon. Ibekwe Nnamdi Chimdi, fondly called Oziomachi, is not just a legislator; he is a message of hope, a man whose leadership speaks louder than words.

With unwavering commitment, he has transformed lives through ICT development, educational support, and humanitarian outreach. Over 200 students have had their WAEC fees paid, while numerous others have benefited from scholarships—giving wings to dreams once grounded by hardship.

In agriculture, he’s opening new frontiers of productivity. In youth empowerment, he’s raising a generation of self-reliant leaders. To widows, he is a helping hand and a source of strength.

For Hon. Nnamdi Ibekwe, leadership is more than governance—it is a ministry, a call to service, a divine mandate to uplift. His name, Oziomachi—the messenger of the Divine—is not just a title; it is a testimony.

Let the people of Bende North and beyond continue to rise with him, for where vision meets compassion, transformation becomes inevitable.

Oziomachi leads… and the people rejoice.
Oziomachi serves… and the future is secured.
Oziomachi speaks… and hope echoes across the land.

God bless Hon. Ibekwe Nnamdi Chimdi.
God bless Bende North.
God bless Abia State.
