Rising Nigerian artist Melodi (born Melody Olunne Amadi) is stepping into her own with her latest single, “Big Fish.”

A genre-blending track rooted in Afrobeats, R&B, and Afro-soul, “Big Fish” is bold, unfiltered, and deeply honest. Known for her introspective songwriting and grounded presence, Melodi calls this release “like standing in front of a mirror and finally seeing myself clearly.”

It’s more than a song - it’s a statement of clarity, power, and emotional truth.
With “Big Fish,” Melodi isn’t just expressing herself, she’s owning every part of who she is.

Social media commentator Scott Iguma has been remanded in custody until Monday following his arraignment on a 10-count charge at the Federal High Court in Ikoyi, Lagos.

Iguma, known for his vocal online presence, had earlier accused PWAN Group, a prominent Nigerian real estate company, of selling land receipts instead of actual plots to customers. In a series of Instagram posts, he alleged that the company was engaging in fraudulent practices, drawing significant public attention.

In a follow-up post on Wednesday, Iguma claimed that his arrest was orchestrated by PWAN’s founder, Augustine Onwumere, with the cooperation of the Deputy Commissioner of Police at Panti, Yaba.

According to a WhatsApp message from the police spokesperson, Iguma appeared before the court on Thursday, July 17, 2025.

The case has sparked conversations online about freedom of expression and corporate accountability in Nigeria’s real estate sector.
