Let's talk about how the information age can be dangerous for the African community if we are not careful. The question rising from this is how to use our easy access to information and then channel that to the right places so that we can achieve better outcomes for the African community.
Some food for thoughts: Why do we have access to vital information today more than before? Is it technology, digitalization or just another instrumentalization?
One thing for sure is clear; humans have never been more powerful in the history of mankind.

Language has always and will continue to be an instrumental tool in various areas of the human race. Information they say is power, but you need language to decode information; perhaps the latter is more powerful than the former.
Language has been an instrumental tool in the disruption of Africa - disruptions in every aspect that you can imagine; good, bad and ugly! More precisely, the topic of European influences on the African continent is a controversial one and European languages are often parts of the debates surrounding this topic.

Perhaps we still have vibrant female nationals like her today; fear isn't in her dictionary.
She was born in 1684 at a time when the Kingdom of Kongo was going through great difficulties. Although she only lived to be 22 years old, her life is an inspiration to us all. We can all agree that her accomplishments receives credits up till date.

Many young Africans no longer want to practice the bride price tradition for many reasons.
If you are living abroad, it becomes even harder to appreciate that concept. It is also hard to say if 'modern' parents tell their children about this tradition; do they even understand it?
One may as well say everything has gone wrong with paying bride price; it seems to have evolved into a family business today.
