History, haunted halls & a bit of Brontë magic? Yes please!

Oakwell Hall is a gorgeous 1600s manor with creaky floors and even its own ghost 👻 Plus, Charlotte Brontë once wandered these halls and used it as inspo for Shirley!

Outside, you’ve got 110 acres of green space to roam - period gardens, woodland trails, a mountain bike track, playground, and plenty of spots for a chill picnic 🧺 There’s also a cute café and gift shop for a post-walk treat.
