*01 Missing Lady traced out & reunited with her Family members by P/S Billawar*

Kathua; 04 Nov:- J&K Police Kathua under the overall supervision of *SSP Kathua Ms. Mohita Sharma IPS* traced out one missing lady and reunited her with family members in the jurisdictional area of PS Billawar.
On 16-10-2025 one person namely Mohinder Kumar S/O Nanku R/O Dadwara Tehsil Billawar District Kathua came at this P/S Billawar and lodged a written complaint regarding missing of his wife namely Mamta Devi Age- 47 years W/O Mohinder Kumar R/O Dadwara Tehsil Billawar. On receiving a complaint a missing report was entered at this P/S Billawar vide GD No.15 dated 16-10-2025 and a team of P/S Billawar led by *Insp. Zaheer Mushtaq SHO PS Billawar under the guidance of SDPO Billawar Sh. Neeraj Padyar* searched various places and checked CCTV camera installed in the area and with the help of technical assistance along with timely human intervention , recovered the missing lady from Jammu .After completing all legal formalities the said missing lady handed over to her legal heirs.

Police arrests 02 drug peddlers in Shopian; Contraband substances recovered.

November 02: Police in Shopian have arrested two drug peddlers in separate operations and recovered contraband substances from their possession.
A police party of Police Post Keegam at a checkpoint established at Marhenz Chowk, arrested a drug peddler identified as Zubair Ahmad Dar resident of Sunsamil Pulwama. During search, 500 grams of Charas was recovered from his possession.
In a separate incident at Zainapora Nagard Axis, a police party intercepted a drug peddler identified as Suhail Ahmad Dar resident of Wadina Zainapora. During search, 480 grams of charas-like substance was recovered from his possession.
Accordingly, cases under relevant sections of law have been registered at respective police stations and investigations have been initiated.
J&K Police reiterates its firm resolve to maintain a drug-free society and appeals to the general public to support this noble mission. Citizens are urged to report any information related to drug abuse or peddling to the nearest police establishment.

POLICE STATION R.S. PURA ARRESTS TWO ABSCONDERS WANTED IN UAPA CASE FROM BARAMULLA AFTER FIVE YEARS ON THE RUN.

In a significant breakthrough, Police Station R.S Pura achieved success in arresting two absconders who had been evading arrest for the past five years in a UAPA case registered under *FIR No. 63/2020 U/S 120-B/121/121-A IPC, 13/17/39 ULA (P/S R.S Pura).*
The arrested absconders have been identified as 1)*Owais Farooq S/O Farooq Ahmed Waza and 2) Ahsan Fayaz Leilu S/O Fayaz Ahmed Leilu, both residents of Old Town, Baramulla, Kashmir.* Due to their prolonged evasion, the Hon’ble 3rd Additional Sessions Court, Jammu had earlier issued warrants under Section 299 CrPC against them.
Acting on reliable intelligence and sustained surveillance, a special police team from Police Station R.S Pura launched a series of raids in Baramulla. After meticulous planning and coordination, both absconders were apprehended during the third operation.
*The arrests were made under the supervision of SP headquarters Jammu & SDPO R S Pura by team of Jammu Police led by Inspector Ravi Singh Parihar, SHO R.S Pura.*
Following their arrest, the accused were produced before the Hon’ble 3rd Additional Sessions Court Jammu, which ordered their judicial custody at District Jail Amphalla, Jammu.

DODA POLICE APPREHENDED DRUG PEDDLER WITH CHARAS-LIKE SUBSTANCE*

Doda, November 01, 2025:

In a continued drive against the menace of drug trafficking, Doda Police apprehended a person and recovered a Charas-like substance from his possession during a surprise naka checking in the Thathri area.

Today, on 01.11.2025, a police team of Police Station Thathri, while conducting surprise naka checking at Link Road Phagsoo near Zero Point at about 1500 hours, noticed one person approaching the naka point from the Jangalwar side. On seeing the police party, the individual tried to hide himself and moved hurriedly towards Thathri. Sensing something suspicious, the police team immediately intercepted and apprehended him.

During his personal search and preliminary inquiry, about *45 grams* of Charas-like substance was recovered from his possession. The accused has been identified as Komit Singh Rana, son of Chander Prakash, resident of Gundow, Jakayas, Tehsil Chilli Pingal, District Doda.

In this regard, a case FIR No. 66/2025 under Sections 8/20 of the NDPS Act has been registered at Police Station Thathri, and investigation has been set into motion.

The swift action of Doda Police reaffirms its commitment to eradicate the drug menace from society and ensure a drug-free environment in the district.

कनाचक में जम्मू (ग्रामीण) पुलिस ने कुख्यात गो-तस्कर पर पीएसए लगाया

सार्वजनिक व्यवस्था में खलल डालने वाले तत्वों के खिलाफ सख्त कार्रवाई जारी रखते हुए, एसएसपी जम्मू श्री जोगिंदर सिंह (जेकेपीएस) के नेतृत्व में जम्मू पुलिस ने गो-तस्करों के खिलाफ शिकंजा और कस दिया है।

कनाचक पुलिस ने एक कुख्यात गो-तस्कर को गिरफ्तार कर उसके खिलाफ जम्मू-कश्मीर पब्लिक सेफ्टी एक्ट (PSA) के तहत मामला दर्ज किया है।

इस वर्ष अब तक 1 PSA और 1 PIT NDPS वारंट गो-तस्कर और ड्रग पेडलर के खिलाफ डोमाना सब-डिविज़न में लागू किए जा चुके हैं, जो क्षेत्र में शांति और कानून-व्यवस्था बनाए रखने के लिए जम्मू पुलिस की प्रतिबद्धता को दर्शाता है। यह इस साल डोमाना सब-डिविज़न में शम्मा की गिरफ्तारी के बाद दूसरी PSA कार्रवाई है।

आरोपी कई बार गो-तस्करी की घटनाओं में शामिल पाया गया और इस तरह के अपराधों में उसके खिलाफ कई एफआईआर दर्ज की गई थीं।

पीएसए वारंट को पीएसआई सुहैल खान (थाना कनाचक) ने SHO कनाचक और SDPO डोमाना की कड़ी निगरानी में तथा एसपी रूरल जम्मू के समग्र पर्यवेक्षण में कार्यान्वित किया। इस कार्रवाई में जिला प्रशासन का सहयोग और समन्वय सराहनीय रहा। आरोपी को जिला जेल पुंछ में भेजा गया है।

Kishtwar :-The Parihar brothers were remembered on their 7th death anniversary today in Kishtwar. A Shradhanjali programme was organized at the District Office of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) under the aegis of District President Kishtwar, Ravi Parihar, in the presence of MLA Kishtwar, Shughan Parihar, and other BJP leaders and workers. The programme was attended by many prominent people of Kishtwar, including representatives from the Kishtwar Sanatan Dharam Sabha and other organizations. Hundreds of people participated in the programme and paid tributes to the Parihar brothers. A two-minute silence was observed, and all participants pledged to work towards unity and integration of the nation, for which the Parihar brothers sacrificed their lives.

It is worth mentioning that BJP leader Anil Parihar and his elder brother, Ajeet Parihar, were martyred in a terrorist attack on November 1, 2018, while heading home after closing their shop in the main town of Kishtwar. On the occasion, speakers recalled the contributions of the Parihar brothers towards society, describing them as "down-to-earth persons who served society without any benefit."

A large number of youths gathered at the BJP Office in Kishtwar, chanting slogans of "Parihar Brothers Amar Rahe" as they paid homage to the Parihar brothers.
