DGP Nalin Prabhat Reviews Security Preparedness at RPHQ Batote

Director General of Police, Jammu and Kashmir, Nalin Prabhat, visited the Range Police Headquarters (RPHQ) Batote to assess the overall security, law and order situation, and administrative preparedness in the Doda-Kishtwar-Ramban (DKR) Range.
The DGP was welcomed by DIG DKR Range, Shridhar Patil, along with senior officers including SSP Ramban, SSP Traffic NHW, and other officials.
During the visit, a comprehensive review meeting was held to evaluate the deployment arrangements for the ongoing Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra (SANJY–2025), highway security protocols, and ongoing operational strategies in the region.
The DGP appreciated the coordinated efforts of the civil and police administration in ensuring the smooth conduct of the Yatra so far. He underscored the need for continued vigilance and seamless coordination among various agencies to ensure public safety and order.
Emphasising the importance of strengthening the intelligence network, he called for greater focus on operational efficiency and preparedness. The visit highlighted the commitment of the security forces toward maintaining peace and stability in the region.
