They said it was unfixable, but we couldn't resist the potential of this Mustang project. By combining the best parts from a wrecked Boss 302, a Laguna Seca edition, and a standard GT, we aimed to build a one-of-a-kind machine. However, the build fought us every single step of the way. I severely underestimated how much damage this widebody Trackhawk truly had, but backing down was never an option. After stripping the car down to its core, we discovered just how deep the structural trauma went. The front frame rail was pointed downwards, and the entire front end was a mangled mess. Instead of quick fixes, we opted for a full structural rebuild. We brought in an SRT8 parts car to provide the necessary bones, allowing us to graft a clean frame rail and front assembly onto our project. It required precision measurements, constant double-checking, and hours of tedious spot weld drilling, but the results speak for themselves. We have managed to turn a totaled auction win into a legit roller. This process taught us that whether you are dealing with a bent frame or missing suspension, there is always a path forward if you are willing to do the hard work.
