Introducing Osaka Castle (大阪城, Ōsakajō) 🏯🇯🇵 — one of Japan’s most important historical landmarks. In South Korea 🇰🇷 visited this place last weekend during our Japan trip and enjoyed not only the castle itself, but also the beautiful surroundings, stone walls, and moats connected to Osaka’s waterways. From street food along the path to autumn leaves still hanging on, this walk felt like history and everyday life coming together.

Built in the late 16th century by Toyotomi Hideyoshi, this castle played a major role in the unification of Japan. Surrounded by massive stone walls and beautiful moats (hori), it reflects both strength and elegance. Today, the area is known for its scenic views, seasonal colors, and peaceful waterways—making the journey to the castle just as special as the destination.

Here’s something interesting about spending December In South Korea :
Christmas isn’t considered a major holiday here, and here’s why:

🇰🇷 Korea doesn't have deep historical Christian roots, so Christmas never developed into a long-standing traditional holiday.
🏠 It’s not really a big family celebration—Koreans save their major family gatherings for Seollal (Lunar New Year) and Chuseok (Harvest Festival).
💑 Instead, Christmas is often enjoyed as a romantic date for couples or a fun outing with friends.
✨ And while you’ll find beautiful lights and decorations everywhere, they’re mostly appreciated for the cozy winter vibe rather than religious significance.

Still, the holiday season in Korea has its own unique charm—and I’m excited to share the countdown with you all! 🌟🎅

🇯🇵 Dinner in Japan on the 2nd day of In South Korea 's🇰🇷 trip in Japan last week – Sukiyaki (すき焼き)
On our second day in Japan, we enjoyed this classic Japanese hot pot called Sukiyaki.
Thinly sliced beef is slowly cooked with vegetables, tofu, and mushrooms in a sweet–savory soy-based sauce, then dipped into raw egg before eating 🤍
Served with rice and small side dishes, it was the perfect comforting dinner after a long day of travel.
Simple, warm, and so satisfying 🍲✨

Introducing these sacred deer around Tōdai-ji Temple(동대사 도다이지)in Nara City, Japan.🇯🇵⛩️ They are considered messengers of the gods and are protected. Although they may look friendly, they are still wild animals. Don’t tease, chase, or mess around with them—especially if you have food. This is their home, so please respect them and observe from a safe distance 🦌🙏

In South Korea 🇰🇷, met these sacred deer during our trip to Japan🇯🇵 last weekend.

We kept saying ‘없어’, which in Korean means ‘none’ or ‘I have nothing,’ while showing our empty hands to let the deer know we had no food. If you don’t do this, they might nudge you or even bite your clothes.
