HOW YOU CAN 3Ă YOUR BUSINESS CREDIBILITY
Part of the decisions I've made this year is to give in myself to so much study, gather enough experience, volunteer/intern in any possible way, and connect and collaborate.
Attending this live broadcast was one of the many ways to achieve my goal.
As seen in the picture, Ma'am Akua (the host) taught "personality test and leadership".
Out of the many things she said, the one that stood out for me was the value-based kind of leadership.
In her words.. "Leaders must create opportunities and spaces for employees to connect with their why..
Companies must also ensure that employees can connect with their mission, vision, and objectives".
For me, this is one of the best leadership trends every business/company must have. Getting your employee to believe and accept that your own company is also his, now he is making an all-out effort to ensure that the company is in massive progress.
As easy as this may sound, very few businesses have this value-based kind of leadership.
I know every employee is meant to do his best to at least to commensurate with the salary he receives. However, when an employee sees your company as his own, he goes the extra mile! (takes risks)
That is one branding strategy Companies ignore.
It is called "Employee Branding".
You may ask...
What is employee branding and
Why does this all matter?
Okay, just follow me..
Do you know that the employee voice is 3x more CREDIBLE than the CEOâs when it comes to productivity in that company? (credible in this context means convincing)
Employee branding is the process of getting employees on board with the mission, values, and vision of your company, which motivates them to help convey those messages to customers, stakeholders, prospects, and other employees, they go straight out to advertising and promoting your company.
Let's say..
Mr Peter has a clothing company and 5 employees, he has wide knowledge, and uses the strategies of Employee Branding.
Peter's employees (workers) produce clothes only. But because Mr. Peter has finally conveyed his mission, and values of the company to his employees, and made them believe his company is as well theirs'
Employees have gone overboard, they advertise Peter's company and relate the vision to others.
Imagine that your 5 employees advertise your company to 10 others each, that's a whopping 50 persons. What if each of them run ads with your company? Do the calculation.
Ok guys,
These things don't just happen in a twinkle
It takes time and refinement to truly get it right.
Really, I learned a lot!
I'm glad to be found in the right place
Did you learn something today?
Let me know your thoughts in the comment section,đ
I will tell you how you can build a friendly employee brand either from scratch or reboot your existing process (in my next post)
