Chocolate Cake with Brigadier and White Cream
Dough Ingredients:
- 4 eggs
- 2 cups sugar
- 1 cup oil
- 1 cup milk
- 1 cup powdered chocolate (50% cocoa)
- 2 and 1/2 cups wheat flour
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
How to prepare the dough:
1. Beat the eggs, sugar and oil until light.
2. Add the milk and chocolate powder, stirring well.
3. Gradually add the flour.
4. Finally, add the yeast.
5. Bake in a greased and floured tin in a preheated oven at 180°C for 35 to 40 minutes.
🥥 Filling 1 - White cream:
- 1 can of condensed milk
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1/2 carton of cream
- 1/2 cup powdered milk (optional, for extra creaminess)
Bring everything to a boil over medium heat until it thickens and comes away from the pan. Set aside and allow to cool.
🍫 Filling 2 - Brigadeiro Cremoso:
- 1 can of condensed milk
- 2 tablespoons chocolate powder
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1/2 carton of cream
Cook until it reaches the point of a soft brigadeiro. Let cool before filling.
🧁 Assembly:
1. Cut the cake into 2 or 3 layers.
2. Interleave the fillings: one layer of white cream, another of brigadeiro.
3. Finish with icing and confetti to taste.
