Muzafar Rashid, Youth President of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for Qazigund block, has slammed the National Conference government for allegedly ignoring the Qazigund block in terms of development.
Muzafar Rashid said that several major government offices in Qazigund are still functioning from rented buildings, which reflects the lack of proper infrastructure in the area. He also expressed concern over the absence of proper cricket and sports facilities for the youth of Qazigund.
He further alleged that a number of development projects in the block had already been sanctioned, but the government has failed to allocate the required funds, resulting in delays and halting of important works.
