This was the last face to face conversation with my father. He can no longer speak that time. He passed away early this morning (US time).

Tatay, you said not to worry and that you're recovering. I know you were in pain and I thank you so much for waiting your favorite daughter, Cliff Poland and Linus to see you. I can still feel your hugs and touch on my shoulders. You admired the beauty and intelligence of Margie Moran who won the Miss Universe few months before I was born.Have I ever told you that I legally changed my name to the name you wanted me to have?

You are my guiding star, I hope I can glance your brightest lights when I look up the skies at night.
Contrary to my mom's advice, I didn't go with the MMMM (matandang mayaman madaling mamatay) instead I followed your advice of finding a good-looking man to have good-looking
children😂 Sabi mo, "Maawa kayo sa magiging itsura ng mga anak ninyo, pilliin niyo ang guwapo". Great sense of humor.

You are very protective of your daughters, that if anyone hurts them, you would kill them! We've spent a lot of time together, combining our knowledge together how we can have a successful yields of crops. Oh, I miss the singing with you. The Elvis Presley's, Sinatra and the standard kind of songs. I guess we got the musical abilities from you.

You showed me wisdom, compassion and courage. I didn't cry on my divorces.... but now, I can't stop crying. I am grateful to be your daughter. You are everything to me, my father, my best man, my best friend, my love. Rest in peace, my dear Tatay . You are always in my heart and I promise to take care of your queen, my Nanay.
